i want to trigger button click event of other site through coding.
for example
in gmail v ill give the username & password and click submit button it ill get login and display the second page.
i want i.e the process enter userid & password and click the submit button in some other site through coding.

you can use several methods to achieve this.
1. you can use ajax for login if the parameters are welknown like(txtUserName,txtPassWord)
2. you can use a iframe with the username textbox, userpassword textbox
and a button for login submit.pass the parameters to the main login page of the destination page.
3. you can use the destination page in the current page.

we all know the concept "overriding" is the example of runtime polymorphism.
now in .net 2.0, Look at this..

DataTableReader DSdr = ds.CreateDataReader();<br />
DSdr.NextResult();<br />
DataTableReader DTdr = ds.Tables[0].CreateDataReader();<br />
DTdr.NextResult();<br />
here DSdr and DTdr has the method Next Result();
the reference given by dataset will work for NextResult and the reference given by datatable will return nothing. both the methods returns the datatablereader object reference and the the reference returned by dataset will only work for Next Result.
I think this can be a example of Runtime Polymorphism

Hi there,
i want to create a shopping cart in asp.net 2.0,the problem is that i want to create aspx or html pages dynamically agaisnt each product or item or category.
Like if have three products in Cat1, i wnat three html pages pointing to the same link(to the same shopping cart), please let me know any helpful link or practical expample of that.

Do you really have to generate separate pages? You can have one page that displays different information depending on any parameters that you send to the page.

Hello,
You can use the httpHandlers, you can do it by two one with support of web config file and another is only using coding for that you must know httpHandlers class. Also you need to knowlage how to utilize it.
For that you have skill of XML, Asp.net and Sql server.

What I would suggest is on the Datagrid_OnItemDataBound event you look at the Cells in each "Item" or row as it is bound to the grid. You pick out the cell values that you need and then perform the calculations while storing the values in session or whatever you need to do to maintain that variable. As each row is added you can put the value in an extra column or at the end in the footer or in some label somewhere.
I've done this before where I add all the values in the currency column to come up with a total so it is possible to do either way.

I want a help from you. I have an XML file in which i have my database. I want to retrive one record from it based on condition. Like we query the database like "select * from TableName where Name='soandso'". But here my database itself is an XML file. Is it possible in anyway. I have tried navigation but i am stuck. Cant seem to go forward in this. Please help me as soon as possible.

Use this code.
DataSet ds = new DataSet();<br />
ds.ReadXml(Server.MapPath("filename with path"));<br />
DataRow[] drs = ds.Tables[0].Select("column name = '" + "needed filter value" + "'");<br />
DataRow[] drs = ds.Tables[0].Select("column name = " + "filter value");
read the xml to the dataset and use needed filter in the select method of datatable object.now the drs is collection of rows satisfying your condition.
iterate that and use it.
i think this solves your problem.
