Hi Which type of example you are asking for
Session["sandeep"] = "SomeValue";
Application["Akhare"] = "Throughout Application";
you can use this way
Session is used for perticular period(session only)after then it lost its value
where as application can retain the values even though session is lost i.e through out your application. Google it for more Info

Hi, I created a master page with a contentplacementHolder, then I created a .aspx page that displays a google map. I want the div control that holds the map to be bound with the contentplacementHolder in the master page
Here's the link:

I don't know how can I do that, the code is so complicated.

Only Contents can be "bound" to ContentplaceHolders. Put one around your div, and that's it:

<asp:Content ID="Content1" runat="server" ContentPlaceHolderID="DependsOnMasterPage">

hi U can try like

<asp:Label id="lblDescription" runat="server" Text= '<%# DataBinder.Eval(Container, "DataItem.Description") %>'></asp:Label>
</ItemTemplate>
</asp:TemplateColumn>

Here in "DataItem.Description"-- Description is the fieldname as in table.Use what fieldname what u want to display.
"Width = 25%" means that that coulumn takes 25% of your grid's width..

might be Image control is usefull if the map file is compatible with it

I have two text boxes which retrieves the values of a financial year.
eg.2006-2007.

User will manually enter 2006 in first one and on LOST FOCUS of it second should fill with 2007.

Can any one give some javascript code to do it.

I m using...

Hello,
I use a dropdown list in my page. When Some One Select Its Index the query change according to its Selected Index. i-e
if drpSearch.SelectedIndex = 1 then
query = "Select ........"
end if
if drpSearch.SelectedIndex = 2 then
query = "Select.........."
end if
if drpSearch.SelectedIndex = 3 then
query = "Select.........."
end if
It works Fine for IE, But In Internet Explorer it does not work. What can be the reason. Can any One Help me. Sory I m posting this 2nd time cuz I did not get any useful help yesterday.
