Read the data back to varable fileAsByte
then do the following
Response.Clear();
Response.ClearContent();
Response.ClearHeaders();
Response.Buffer = true;
Response.ContentType = "application/rtf";
Response.BinaryWrite(fileAsByte);
Response.End();

we are using asp.net & sqlserver2005. by entering the credit card number, we have to transfer that number from our server to the bank server, if that number is valid then the bank server will sent the response to our server. How to communicate from our server to their server & pass the queries.
They gave API, but i cant able to connect to their server...
i got an error
***"Remote server returned an error ,Forbidden"***.
Please help me..

Basically they will give API to call their server. You dont worry about it. They will give evrything you just call it and wait for the response code.
or
They can give some portal, You just call the portal in a popup, Then the control will go to bank, they do all the transactions, once the transaction is done they will call your url back.

its just my opinion ...
but i think the procedure said above only may be for debit cards such process happens and none of the credit cards do such a things like opening a popup and then returning the url back after the payment transaction is over.its we who may need to process that...

hi..
i am novice and based on my using of some application i said that for credit cards we wont get a new window for payment processing but for debit cards only we may get new widow for payment processing..
if i was wrong its possible as i dint had any experice in devloping using credit cards and i need to one soon..So can u please suggest me any good links for helping me also to develop appln having credit card payments. Can u also say if we need to surely use SSL during credit card data transfer or any other way is possible.

Hello All,
We are converting our application from 2002 to 2005. Most of projects converted without any errors, but in few projects for 1 or 2 files we are getting error like
Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.
If somebody can let us know what will be solution for this.
