I want to know about the Hit-Counter. That is helpfull to user to know how many times the website is visited.

I get the Ready Hit Counters from the different Sites.
But I want the code related to hit counter.

If anybody knows about that please send me the code
or information related to code.

The premise is simple:

1. Read the counter value from DB/file/etc.
2. Optionally show graphics based on this number.
3. When a new session is created, increment the counter (optionally check the ip against existing ip addresses before increment).
4 .If incremented, save the updated value to said DB/file/etc.

Then you click and complete transaction. But how do i write code, that ill be shure than item is paid. cause if they pay and close site, then my payment url is not going to be shown, databese will not be written and item will not be sold? how can i make sure that transaction is complete i ill have no problems?

Ok i found out how to resolve this.

I hava another question: in code you see variable PAYMENT_AMOUNT

It is posted to my site when you pay- but it is posted from another site- how can i fetch it and put it on screen?

hi all,

i have a problem in comparing date along with time Description as follows:

in my application i am working with Live auction so here i am storing time as string in database and retriving as string and converting into date and time it is working fine . but the problem is for example , the admin given timeof auction to day is At 4:00 clock to 5:00 clock for today is working fine but if admin did not given same time for the next auction because that auction date is going to change so the problem is tommarow at same time that auction is going to live so i need help in this how to compare date along with time . help me pls...

please take the date of everyday from the date object (DateTime.Today.Date("d").ToString()), and concat that date with the time of your auction time retriving from database.

after that you convert that whole string to DateTime Object and then use Compare Object to Compare today datetime and database retrived datetime.

Dear Friend,

Please check out the MSDN Help to update directly through the Data Grid.
You have to write the code related to that in DataGrid's UpdateCommand().

Add an Attribute to the Row in RowDataBound Event as,

i have done it another way.

now i have other problem.
suppose i have 5 linkbutton and i want to open 5 popup window.

my problem is that when i click 1st button, one popup window will be open but when i click 2nd btn then second popup reload on 1st popup window.

hi

guys can you please let me know one thing , when the user closes the browser
it's session dosen't finish and it's session finishes after the specified interval of time defined, so if the user opens the browser again before the session tine interval has finished will the user gets the same session or new session, please reply ASAP,thankx for ur reply.

That depends on the browser, and if there are other browser windows open.

Internet Explorer allows for separate instances of the browser to be running, and each instance have it's own session. If you re-open a window in the same instance, you will get the same session. If you open a new instance, you will get a new session.

Firefox only runs one instance. Unless you have closed all browser windows, you will still be in the same session if you re-open a window.

If you have closed all browser windows and starts the browser again, it will be a new instance of the browser, and it will get a new session.
