Hi all
actually i am very much new with XMl,,
actually i am confused when people say that xml is easily plugabl with any other language , application, which supports xml ,,, ok fine.
but same is the case when both applications support sql server and other data base systems , so they also can share information from a particular data base used by both applicains ,,, so where is the difference , can any body guide me the right way ,, thanks in advance

What this means, is that XML is an open format and is technology independent. This means that you don't need to rely on a third party to supply the formatting/storage. One of the requirements in the original design of XML was that it must be easy for an average developer to develop a parser for it.

Hello everybody! Can anybody help me?
While my project is running I created in memory

assembly with some classes with single static method. Then, I need rewrite some method (delete old class and create new with the same name in the same namespace). How i can do it? Maybe anybody has another solution?

To get rid of some classes, the only way I know is AppDomain.Unload().

How can I take the backup of SQL server database through coding, and I want to restore it through coding. The database must
be kept as a text file. And shuld be able to restore it.
And how can I import and export the SQL server data in to MS-Access mdb file. Please advise me, or give me some code snippet

Start using distributed caching in your existing Enterprise Library Caching Application Block (CAB) based applications without any code change. Download NCache from http://www.alachisoft.com/rp.php?dest=/download.html[^]
Enterprise Library 2.0 provides a stand-alone caching block. However, if your .NET application is running in a server farm then your cache must be distributed in order to avoid data integrity problems in your cache.

Dear friends,
Can I find time that it is taking to execute a set of statements in .Net. Here I am opening a word document in a browser
using aspose library, where I open it by writing some set of statements aspose and .net
And I open it in a different browser by using window.target="_blank". Any way I want to know that, how much time that it is
taking to open a new browser and the word document both. I want to calculate that time for better performance of my
application. Thank you.

when i trying to create new ASP.NET project or trying to open
existing ASP.NET project then i got following error
"Visual Studio .Net has detected that the specified web server is not running ASP.NET version 1.1. You will be unable to run ASP.NET web applications or services"
Please help me out.

What web server are you running? If it is IIS have you tried aspnet_iisreg to re-register ASP.NET with IIS.

I have a website that i originally built in VS 2003. Until recently, i have been using Web Studio express to edit it, and have been forced to use the code-behind files in the finished site.
Now i have VS 2005 and i am trying to compile the site to a dll again, but not having any luck. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi,
I've a webservice server and client. I'm encrypting soap header with algorithm(SHA, DES, TRIPLEDES, etc). Now i'm trying to use WSE 3.0. To use WSE 3.0, i should get the certificate as well as i need to install WSE 3.0
But i dont want to install those. Is there any type of encryption provided by .NET 2.0 without installing any tool or buying certificate, only adding code in web.config.

I'm having trouble finding good examples that demonstrate the implementation of custom configuration sections in 2.0, using C#, that include collections, for example:
<Section1 name1="value1" />
<child value="test1" />
<child value="test2" />
</Section1>
How can I load the above custom config section and have a public property for both name1 AND a public property that exposes a collection of child values?

Hi,
i am using class System.EnterpriseServices for transaction management and i m using a strong name file keypair for strong name and keypair1.snk for strong name token and i give the key pair file name in solution explorer\Property pages\Msbuild option but when i compiled web project in debug mode its giving me error. i have paste the compelete error message.
I m confused why visual studio create random files for this and why its not running from my virtual folder if some body know about this error reply me soon
