How to Refresh previous page when next page is close
i.e I am open next page(next.aspx) by cliking on Button of previous page
(prev.aspx) but I need to Reexcute (prev.aspx) Page_Load() function after closing the next.aspx How can do it , Anyone Help me

I have an XML file that contains lot of records.
For performance reasons, i wanted to read the file using filestream and streamreader. Also, it should read from the last. I need to retrive latest records.
How to move to previous line??

Previous line wouldn't work directly. You can seek reversely byte by byte until you read a New Line character. This way you'd know that the last line has ended, and now you are in the previous line.
But this is very tedious. Are you sure you can't just use XPath to get your nodes?

I am a newbie of about 4 months old, and have been trying to figure out how to simulate typing in a textbox control. I seem to have it all figured out except for the fact that the text appears all at once into the txtbox control rather than one character at a time and at a specified time delay.
What i have done so far:
I have a windows form with a button called (btnType)and a textbox(txtType).
When the button is clicked data is read from a comma deliminated file into the "string[]DeliminatedStrings" and from there the chosen deliminated string is loaded into a Char[] called "charSubstring" which has two parameters, "int Starting index, and Length of substring. The last "while" statement concatinates 1 letter of the substring from the deliminated file at a time, assigning it to the text property of the textbox control called txtType.
The "Tread.Sleep" command is used inside the "while" statement so that the text that is being assigned to the textbox control will be assigned at a delayed interval. I was hoping that at runtime this would simulate a user typing text, one character at a time, however, it appears that i have got something wrong because the text appears all at once into the textbox control.
I have messed with the delay times for the Thread.Sleep method but to no avail. It seems that all the delays happen first than the text is assigned all at once, instead of after each individual character assignment like i was hoping. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The text gets inserted all at once as your btnType_Click event handler runs on the main UI thread and therefor no other messages are processed until it is done. They are queued in the message pump and get executed after the event handler finishes. Take a look at the Control.Refresh method that forces a visual control to redraw itself immediately.

Windows XP SP1 is not supported by the .NET Framework 3.0. Can you install WinXP SP2 on the machine, then install the Framework?

I notice the message "[12/26/06,10:23:30] VS Scenario: [2] Only x64 platforms are supported". Are you trying to install the X64 redistributable on a 32-bit platform?

I do not know exactly what this error means. I have downloaded the .NET 3.0 runtime and trying to install. As per the system requirements I am having everything in place.

Has anyone had any issues with checkedlistBox control when clicking on the items checkboxes?
Every time, I click on the checkboxes, it appears as if the checkbox image partly dissapears. This does not happen if I click on the item itself.

I'm not sure wheter AT+CIMI or AT+CGSN returns the right value or not.. According do some documents there are different implementations!
But everything else is pretty easy as long as there is an easy way to communicate with your phone (bluetooth and irda are usually not easy as long as there is no virtual com port available for them). Just send these AT commands to your phone and read the input!
Don't have an example in C# here but I've played with at commands with java in the past and it worked pretty well!

Ou this was easy.. Just use the search function on this site and you'll find this: http://www.codeproject.com/smartclient/phoneat.asp It's written in vb.net but I guess this doesn't matter as everything is pretty similar and it shows the concept of using at-commands really nice!

I don't know what "sim" numbers are are (I'm guessing you meant "some numbers"), but if you're looking to write numeric data to a file, this[^] article may help.

Do you know how to use hooks? If yes you could use it to get the mouse position.. Get the current time when the event is raised and do some trivial math and you have your speed!

Hi!
I want to get the window handles of all the open windows.
I tried using FindWindow method in User32 but it works only when I supply a window name or a window class.
When both parameters are null that method does not seem to work properly.
Does anyone know why? And can someone help me with a proper method to use?
Also the Spy++ shows lots of windows (how do I get windows shown in the Taskbar?)

What should FindWindow return if both parameters are null? There is no such window! Every window should have at least a classname..
Do you know EnumWindows? It's the win32 api method with which you'll easily get a list of all windows..
