Is there a built in function that tell me if the user is in a specific group instead of writing my own function that will run on all the groups that the user is a member of them and compere? some thing like: bool x=isCurrentUserMemberof("myGroupName"); Hope i was clear enough. Now if you keep this time (or datetime) in a session variable, you'll be able to calculate how to 'further-countdown' right?? I used tag to do it, but its refreshing the whole page. But I want to refresh only the AdRotator control part. Not the other parts in the web page. You can only refresh pages containing controls, which you've already found out. If you want to rotate ads, either use JavaScript, or place the ad-rotator in a seperate page (using an IFrame for example) and refresh that...
