Hi,
populating a dropdown control with dates.
The length of the control seems to be double the length of the dates.
How can I reduce the size of the control to be as same as the length of the dates please?
This is how the control is popiulated:

System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException, Invalid class string
Getting this error when connecting dynamically to crystal reports,
Application is running fine when executed from visual studio 2005,
But when we create the deployment setup to run crystal reports on server,
we are including dll necessary in deployment setup, but certain dll necessary for crystal reports are lacking, that's why crystal reports are not loaded on the server ... plz suggest me for solving

Hi All
I have two dropdown list in asp.net.
Suppose First dropdown list contains like "month","days" etc
When I select month from first dropdown,I want corresponding value of month like "1 to 12" in second dropdown list.How to write javascript for that?
Means first deopdown' selected index change event in javascript.

Hi
you can do this without javascript also. For that you need to set the 'autopostback' property of the dropdown 'true'. then write the code for displaying coresponding value of the month and assign it to the control.

First of all create a function then add the following code in it.

I have done this.
But how to add x value to dropdownlist using javascript?
I have done like this:
for(i=0;i<=12;i++)
{
Form1.ddl_category.add(i) or Form1.ddl_category.value=i;
}
But i got error.
If u have syntex for that pls give me.

Hi All
Ok this is weird. I have a project developed on VWD and when i run / debug it on VWD server (the built in one) the application runs fine without any problems.
Then i deploy this to my web server on another machine and after the first page I get a yellow page error. (shown below). Even deploying it to a local IIS and accessing it from a browser gives the same result.
Any clue as to whats wrong. The application itself seems to be fine based on the simple fact that i can run it from VWD.
Another thing (not related to this though) -- In Visual studio there used to be a function called Debug Process under the Tools menu which you could attach to inetinfo process and debug application as they are being served. This features appears to not be available in VWD, Does anyone know of a similar debugging tool that allows debugging of pages served from IIS as opposed to the standard run with debug mode which allows debugging of pages served from VWD built in server.

as sandeep told , you can drag and drop the control on the main page i.e registering the control with html Register tag and next method is what i told you to load the control.
see if you have created one application test with the test.aspx as the web page. which contains the testwebusercontrol.ascx. so you may grag and drop it to test.aspx or you can register it through
dim testControl = Page.Loadcontrol("testwebusercontrol.ascx")
and u will able to access the all the properties, methods etc defined in testwebusercontrol.ascx.vb in both the ways.

OK you mean to say Menu bar or address bar yes you can remove it but the problem is you cannot remove the address bar of current application as i know you cannot get object of current browser so you can do one thing
