We are having an asp.net1.1 page in Plumtree Portal 6.0(internet applicaton) which shows lot of contents in a treeview. We are populating the treeview through AJAX. Once the page gets loaded, we are registering a startup script which in turns calls the same page(one querystring is passed) through AJAX, and through response.write we are showing div and anchor tags to build the tree. When we click multiple times on the page hangs. When we refresh browser, we are getting the error A script on this page is causing internet explorer to run slowly. do you want to abort the script yes/no. Even when we click yes, we are unable to continue with the process and the browser hangs. When we viewed the temporary internet files, we saw that page with the querystring parameter having the size of 400kb which may be the reason? Any ideas to overcome this scenario. Our situtation is to populate the tree after the page load through AJAX

Ours is an asp.net1.1 internet application. We are referring to IBM Surfaid javascript file which is hosted in that website. We are calling a javascript function defined in that file. We are using page.render method to register a javascript which will call the javascript function defined in that function on every page load. On first time load, it is happening file. On postbacks, we are getting a Warning 'The page is accessing information outside the network. Do you want to continue? Yes or No'. We used to click on yes. Is there any solution to avoid this warning? Is that due to that external js file reference(other domain) or something else? We need to refer to that file web usage tracking. Please suggest something

Hello,
I created a class named Scripts with a function (Add) and a property
(List). I compiled it into a dll.
Basically, when I do:
Dim MyClass As Scripts
MyClass.List = "Script1, Script2"
MyClass.Add
It adds the scripts to the page.
My problem is that inside my class I have:
Page.ClientScript.RegisterClientScriptInclude ...
And I get an error saying:
"Name Page is not declared"
How can I solve this?

You can :
1. create a member of type Page in the class, then use that for the code.
2. create a parameter of type Page in the class.
(untried)
You can also try to get the parent of the control, and cast it as page.

Now i want to adjust Columns Width accordingly....

Sorry if this is the incorrect forum.
Was wondering if any one can point me in the right direction with a query I have.
If a person has a website that refers a customer to another website (eg Fred's Jeans), and then that customer purchases a pair of Fred's Jeans - Is there a way to count how many people do this (not just traffic but actually finalise a sale).
If so can any one offer any advice etc.

When you send the person to Fred's Jeans, there should be a query string value with a unique identifier for your site (the referrer) like www.fredsjeans.com/?refid=12. Fred's Jeans must then store the refid value in Session (or keep it in the QS the whole time by changing links). Then when a user buys something the site checks the Session for a refid and if it finds it the referrer is credited with the referral.

So this means that if Fred's Jeans didnt have a site set up to deal with referals then the code of that page would need changing too, so that it can send me back a msg saying some one has bought some of my fine jeans?

Hi
When I use DetailsView in VS2005 and set it in defultMode to insert and then when I need to get the new values so in the DetailsView_ItemUpdating event the following code alwayes give me null exception

Also I set set ConvertEmptyStringToNull="False"
But still I get null exception !!! any one help me
so
I want to get updated values back from the
DetailsView and then handle my updating manually.
