If you draw a rectangle and then update the label, the time difference should not be noticable. Most of the time they would both be drawn within the same page refresh, so there would be no delay at all. What is is that you do that is taking time?

I have a COM object(in C++) without TypeLIB and I there is a late bound client in C#.NET. During work

But i don't know how i can implement IDispatch in C#? Yes, i know, that RCW and CCW do all work to marshal parameters and call functions, and implement IUnknown and IDispatch, but in my application it is neccesary to implement IDispatch myself, because i don't have a TypeLIB for COM object and that's way i can't cache DispIDs from another source.. I have been trying to write this event handler already 3 days, but unsuccessful!!!!
Plese, if anybody know how to solve this problem, help!

have created a groovy c# app in c# express edition 2005.
I see that i can create an installer - "publish" option
can i just make a stand alone statically built .exe file which doesnt need an installer?
if so, how do i go about it ?

Your question is not very clear... Do you mean a change over time, or do you mean a gradient? Do you want to monitor changes, or do you want to do the changes?

yes, I meant a change over a time.
If am using an image with a background color as "aqua" after 30 secs, I have to change the backcolor as "Dark blue" by using webControls, this action to alternate for every 30 secs. Waiting for a solution.

I am making a map editor for a game and have a ton of picture boxes that are set to different images to make the map tiles. Once I make the map I have a method that begins to save the map and all of its information. How do I get the unique image information from these picture boxes(image name, image path, ect.)?

Well i've been making an app in .net 2.0 with sharpdevelop - but ive been making sure to only use things available to .net 1.1
I like the way all the designer code goes in a seperate file, anyways, i go to compile it with .net 1.1 and it doesn't like all of this partial class nonsense. SO rather than ME combining the two files for each form, is there somehting that will do it for me?

Partial class just tells the compiler to include that source with the rest of it.
If you want to compile in .net 1.1 just combine all the partial classes into one class, in one file.

I have a WinForm app and want to startup a ConsoleApp using a bat file. I have the bat file and once executed my ConsoleApp works fine.
How do I execute (or whatever) that bat file from a WinForms App? Do I use the Application class somehow?
