i have a appilcation which have multiple forms i w want to add help file to them.
when user press F1 the help file should open and respective form topic should be open

can any one done this thing before or have any idea how i can do it how can i create help file.
i am waiting for ur responses

There a Number of Help creater(HelpScribble..etc) available on the market.either you can download them from net. these'll help to create HTML Help files(Help.chm).you can access them by
Help.ShowHelp(this,path);

In VB.Net The keyword Redim is used to modify the array at runtime.I have an array in C# .Now the problem is , i need to modify the array at runtime .How can i implement that?

Modify in what terms?
Increase the size or something else
If you want to increase the size u better use the Arraylist which
grows dynamically.

You just have to go on adding items to the arraylist
e.g.
ArrayList arrList = new ArrayList();

//some code
arrList.Add(item);
the above line adds an item to the arraylist

now if you want to decrease the size u can remove the unwanted item

arrList.Remove(index);

if you want to flush your values in the array use

myArray = null; // redim

if you want to just resize your array use

array.resize ( ref myArray, (int)myArrayNewSize); //redim.preserve

Hi
i devlope an application that is using two avi files.
i put these avi in a folder and folder is placed in Application start location.
and i use control for avi files MicroSoft Animation Control 6.0(sp6).
But in some system the application runs and in some not run.
if i remove avi control then it runs on all system
Please rell me how to manage avi .

I am trying to get a string from a database. The code for that works fine. I next want to add those strings to an array. This is where the problem occurs. What am I doing wrong?

for (int i = 0; i < arrayLevels.Length; i++)<br />

                    int iLevelOridinal = rdr.GetOrdinal("Level");<br />
                    string szLevel = rdr.GetString(iLevelOridinal);<br />

                    arrayLevels[i] = szLevel;<br />

The error is:

Cannot apply indexing with [] to an expression of type 'System.Array'

I understand the error but do not know how to fix it, all help would be great!

Wht type of Array have u declared?
i guess it should be string []arrayLevels;

It looks like you are trying to access an array but you are using a type called System.Array. When you declare an array like so

byte[] arrayOfBytes = new byte[1000];

arrayOfBytes will implicitly inherit the type System.Array. arrayOfBytes is not of type System.Array, it is of type byte[]. It seems like you are attempting to access a type of type System.Array but for you to access it with indexing it would have to be an array of System.Array.

System.Array[] arrays = new System.Array[10000];

If you are going to use the System.Array type use the method GetValue

myArray.GetValue(index);

I recommend you use the conventional array syntax as it is much faster and good coding.

string myArray = new sring[100];

Hi all,

I am working for my plan. And now, I have a problem, I need to get Stock price from the Web. One of addresses:

http://www.bvsc.com.vn/StockPrice.aspx

I used HttpWebRequest, HttpWebResponse and StreamReader to get above addresses in HTML format. Now I want to get Stock qoutes.

Can I read data from that HTML?
How to get Stock qoutes?

Hello all,

I’m working on a Mouse Gesture Recognition application (I’m planning to do it with C#), the application is supposed to sit in the background and process gestures only if the right mouse button is held.
There are many articles/tutorials/codes about the subject… however I want to do it with Neural Networks, that way I can recognize circles and other complicated gestures.
I found only two examples about mouse gestures with NNs, one in C++ and the other in C#... and both of them don’t include enough documentation or explanation for me to understand and implement.

I have a friend of mine which has written a fullscreen app which act as a menu for its kids.
Now he would like to be able to run it fullscreen and take over the WINDOWS, WINDOWS+E, WINDOWS+M, ALT-TAB keys when the session start. Or something like that.

What would be the best way to achieve that?

You'd have to make a global keyboard hook, to handle these keystroke before windows.
