Aahh, i was so close. When it reads its doesn't read from right to left top to bottom, at reads the WHOLE row, and goes top to bottom.
The result i get thats stored in reader, is an array, so i need to go
Console.WriteLine( reader[0].ToString() );
And so on. Well im happy AWAY!..

We can get the list of installed softwares in the local machine by reading the registry key "Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Uninstall"
But can I get the installed software on a remote machince....?? Please help..

Im busy with a asp.net application in C# where i work with an Excel file with 5 sheets in it. I populate the first two sheets and then formulas provide sheets 3 - 5 with data. How would i manage to print only sheets 3 to 5 after i have populated the first two ?

Hi,
Quite new to C# and Visual Studio, but here's my question..
I'm on a project that uses Windows Forms with a RichTextBox.
The text that is imported/typed in this box is copied to another RichTextBox, that eventually change this text to a Scrolling Text, from right to left on the screen. Searched the net for something like this, but I had no real luck finding it, except for the DougScrollingTextCtrl. Though this is not that user friendly in my opinion.
Is there anything I could think of to create something like this?

Im not sure if this would be possile, but could you try using spaces?
Like this:
make a timer
-while(text doesn't go offscreen? <-- thats the bit im not sure about)
-text = " " + text;
then once it reaches t'other side, trim the first character for as long as it is " "
Then repeat, i don't have any code for this, its just an idea.

Thought about something like this as well, though this makes the screen flicker a bit, cause it's one char after another. Would like to see it smoothen out and for the user able to change the speed it scrolls. Said I used a RichTextBox, so the user can put text in there, but doesn't matter what control is used for the scrollingtext.
I'll be looking into it, cause it's a start anyways.

I made an installation project (msi) for my c#.Net winform application.
In the installation folder dialog box i have two options button :
Everyone
Just me (by default)
the 'Just me' option is selected by default, how can i select 'Everyone' by default ?

I need to know how to authenticate a user before sending a mail using a
C# application.
The source code i use is this:

Hi Praveen,
In the Microsoft PropertyGrid, you can't create directly a property under another property. You must do it like a Font or a Pen does it. For example, if you have a Font property in your target instance, you will be able to see it in the grid and to expand it to see the published properties underneath. This trick is achieved by the FontConverter class. If you look its source code into Reflector you will see how GetProperties() returns a set of customized properties and how CreateInstance() reacreates a font instance with the values of these properties. Studying these classes can help you a lot understand how the propertygrid works. Hope that helps.
