Hi folks..
This is selvaraj S.Kaliyappan.We are developing online examination application using asp.net 1.0 with sqlserver2000. Our requirement is all questions(50 to 100) should displayed in random order. All question should displyed in lable control and options should displayed in radio buttons. I wrote sample code in my application(I have disply records in datagrid).It's taking randomize records but duplicate question no is displyed.. If any one know about my requirement please suggest/advice me,As soon as possible.

You must Chose Random Number With Random Class(In The System Name Space) and then chose the index of you're Record at the database

iam having 5 aspx files to access these aspx user should be authenticated
my requirment is if a user enters url directly it should automatically direct to login page

requirement is
if i place a req for 3.aspx without authentication the page should redirect to login page after authentication it should direct to 3.aspx only not to home page and so on
i think iam clear

Just create a session and when ever a user is authenticated just a assign the user name or user id to the session. At the page load of every page check whether the session is null. if its null redirect the page to the default page.

It using the XMLHttpPost it send back
The users must agree to use active x controls.
Ajax also destroys any attempt at architecture the architect has attempted.
Unless you call a bussiness rule rather that hit the data directly.
Its a cluster of do's and dont's all rolled into 1.

I wrote something like that....

I'm not sure with a panel, but if you use a Label instead, it will definitelly works.

Hi Friemds,
I have a datarepeater and inside it i have a data grid and a drop down.
Say if i get five records in data repeater i will get five data grids and five drop downs related to ech grid.
Now my problem is wheni change the value of any drop down list it should refresh only the associated grid not all the grids in the repeater.

But post back will refresh all the data in the data repeater, are you saying on change i have to set a hidden variable that stores the index from which the request came and then using the variable work on that only item index in data repeater data bind event.

You either need to use ajax and use javascript to change the repeater or use a postback to rebuild your repeater
When it does a postback the index is updated
