Create a dialog having a progress bar. In Its OnInitDialog start a thread to update the progress bar. Set the progress bar initalizations in OnInitDialog. The thread fun must have a infinite loop and setPos fun to update the progress bar.
From downloading thread update the progress bar value using a static variable and use this var to update the bar in Thred fun() and when this value become 100 or like u can call end dialog which will close the progress dialog.

Is there any way I can use an OCX control in an SDI application? I want to use the MSCHRT20.OCX Chart control in my VC++ SDI app so that it can have charting capabilities. Can anyone help?

Hi all,
I'm testing an application that access to a database (at theis moment an Access 2000 db). I've done all the development in my local machine and all worked fine but when I put the db into the server I realized that client application will be on a different domain than the db. How does the connection string change?

Good advice. I would stayed away but it's not my choice. I've recoomended others but at this moment I have tot test it in Access.
Isn't there a solution if it's an Access db?
