Hi! All,
I have a problem when I used session variable to keep the value of HttpPostedFile. Why i have to use session variable becuase of page sometime is postback (refresh page) then I have to declar one session variable to set the value. But the limit of session variable is can't maintain the values of object HttpPostedFile the length more than 10000 bytes. Then I have to find the another global variable to maintain the values when the page is postback.
is there somebody know this?

I hav to display the data on grid
display is as :
col1 col2 col3 col4
sum txt in these col all r merge
1 sum data all 3 col merge
1 2 col merge
1 A
2 B
3 C
4 X=A+B+C
5 Y=A+B+C+X
in sum cases B or C or A are not in means order are A,C,X, but it display 1,3,4. i want to display it as 1,2,3. problem is that these 12345 are key col in table. how i will display according to my requirement suggest

Hi all
I am trying to create a application which retrive data from database and save in excel file
And Iam using this code

But my problum is this is only for 1 table (1 table retrive)
If i have more than 1 table and i want to save the data in same file (1 Excel File) only
Means no. of Tables will retrive but i want to save in only one excel File
Plz can any one help it is urgent to me
Or plz tell me is there any another root to save

hi,
you certainly have idea about joining. You can join as many tables you want through join.so make an exact SQL query to have the results from multiple tables.

you have to supply the parameter (id) in the declaration section in page directive like this......

Hi
Well..I developed a web application and i created a setup & deployment project.
Everything fine..
The following is my problem.
In the custom action i included a stand alone exe to install SQL DB for the web application.
I need to rollback the installation process if i throw a exception in the stand alone exe, which i am using to install DB.
Can anyone help me to solve the problem? Thanks

Hey I'm using a 3rd party application generation tool and I don't have the option to implement a CheckBoxList in the ASP Generation UI. I can roll one by hand (which is plainly the best choice if it was a requirement). What I do have are RadioButtonLists, Textboxes, Buttons, Checkboxes. Now I can easily concatenate some stuff together but I guess I'm just wanting to see some ideas for how to implement multi-select without a CheckBoxList? Do you have any creative ideas?

Yes, you can put an ArrayList in a session variable.
It's not advisable to put large objects in session variables, though. Avoid it if possible.

use a method for returning your array.and on another web page call this method.
if session data go to be big your application go to more slower.

What do you mean?
A page object only exists when a page is created. As the server only handles one request per user at a time, there never is two page objects for the same user at the same time.

2.Used the following Code
