Pass the string into a loop and read until it meets any of the characters that you want to remove then apply the trim() function at that point.

DATATABLE can only consist of data and no controls,
Use a datgris instead

No actually I have use Viewstate of datatable and then bind it with DataGrid.But now I want to add more functionality to datagrid for example Edit and Delete.So I need to add linkbutton to it.
Also on Edit button it should popup new window which will have all the data of that row which I want to edit.

As Justin_Joseph said, you can't add controls to a datatable. Add the controls to the datagrid.

i have a page Aspx
i use GridView and add colum (CommandField "Edit, Update, Cancel")
when run i edit some field on Datagird but i dont get value on Cell when i click on button Update

Trying to deploy the asp.net 2.0 website onto a test machine.
When the .msi runs, it does not seem to create a .dll in the bin directory.
To create a .msi, I create a new project, and create a new setup and deployment for a web setup project, then add the necessary files(i.e. .aspx, .vb...)
Am I on the right track?
Do you know why there is no .dll in the bin when the .msi is run?

right click on ur setup project Add -> Project Output,
just Select the content files to u r setup project and
build and run it will works fine
dont care abt bin directory

i never learn asp b4, but recently working in a company they ask me to enhance the website. but the site is in asp format. which i dont understand which each of the .asp file contain the same top and bottom or side menu. y cant just use frame on top will remain the same always so i no need to change every page of the asp.... i hope u guys understand wat i mean..
or is it this is the asp format??
i usuall use dreamweaver to create website. so the top menu when i need change only change that page. But i since so many asp site when i need change i need to change everysingle page which have the menu.

You can use frames, or includes, or whatever works for you. It was just bad design by the initial designers.

I am not using any new features of asp.net2.0, but i am unable to access the code behind files or the class files. The following message is displayed when i access a class file present in the same namespace.
Compiler Error Message: CS0246: The type or namespace name '--' not found.

Two options:
+ If you use code-behind with the Inherits attribute in the Page directive, then make sure the class is compiled to dll and put it in the bin folder.
+ Don't use code-behind, move your code to the web page .aspx (use inline code model).
