The / operator is a floating point operator, not an integer operator. What your code really is doing is this:
Dim a As Integer<br />
a = 15<br />
a = Convert.ToInt32(Convert.ToDouble(15) / Convert.ToDouble(10))
Use the \ integer operator instead:
a = 15 \ 10
If that doesn't help you need floating point operations after all. Use the Floor method:
a = Math.Floor(15 / 10)

u can save language object text in database and to change language set one switch example dropdownlsit with languages then in selected index changed of dropdownlist u can load object's text in selected language in your dropdownlist.

Please don't cross post. Also, just a suggestion if you want your questions answered: Don't just ask for the code. Nobody will bother to write it for you, if you're just gonna copy paste in in your application, and not even care to understand how it works, or to understand the ideea behind it. It is unprofessional. Remember that the people who answer these forums are here because they want to help others when confrunting with problems. Not writting their code, knowing that the person will not even bother to think about it. That is a waste of their time.
Personally I don't answer any of the questions that ask just for the code.

sir,
I have a string called "This is a string" .Now I want to select some portion of the string eg "this is" and remaining part will remian unselected.after then the string will be inserted into the label control where the selection will reflect on the "this is" string(I mean blue colour will be the background of the string).Like in search toolbar where the search keywords will be inserted in the textbox finally the search description comes withe selected searched keywords.I hope you are getting my question what I mean to say.Please send the code for that.

Hi, I m trying to send an email HTML format.
When I use BodyFormat = Text works but if I chage it to BodyFormat = Text crash.
That problem dosen't occures on wondows application. 
How can I send HTML format emails in asp.net?

Im writing a small news posting system for my site and I've run into a small snag. I want each post to have a unique id but im not sure how to keep it unique. Is there an easy to find out what the last postid entered into my table was? That way I can just add 1 to the number when I go to store a new post.
Also, is there another way to do this? Am I missing something?

Why not make the ID column an IDENTITY column, that was the database will automatically create an id for you.

I am storing small peices of HTML formatted text in an XML file like so:

<item><br />
<!CDATA[[ this is some <h3>text</h3>]]><br />

<br />
When I come to display them through the ASP.NET XML control the HTML tagging in the text is parsed into its non-tag form "& lt" and "& gt" (sans spaces) so as to show on the page as the actual less than and greater than symbols rather then providing HTML tagging.<br />
<br />
Is there a way to prevent this and allow the XML control to output valid HTML that the page will then handle ?<br />

Maybe calling Server.HtmlEncode(html) before storing and Server.HtmlDecode(html) after retrieving could help...

Localization features are great but I have a question about them.
The Local resource file can be generated for every web form and can be used.
But if the webform changes do we need to update resource file and new contents in web form manually or is there a way to automatically update the same?

Hi,
As I have commented my code with xml tags. I need to run Ndoc in order to generate the help file. For NDoc I need dll and the generated xml file. In VS 2003 one can generate this file by enabling the xml documentation file option in Project properties->Configuration Properties->Build->Outputs
But I dont find this option in VS 2005. Any idea how can I generate this xml file?

In VS2005 option exists same place.
If you go to Project Properties->Build
You will find a check box named XML documentation file, enable the same and specify the output path.
Once this is done on compilation the XML file will be generated in the specified directory.

I understand your problem now.The build options I specified work with c# projects but apparently it seems that Visual Studio 2005 does not support the XML comment generation for ASP.Net projects. This article specifies an alternative for that , I have not tried may be you can have a look at it.

Hi,
I have a problem in loading video clip file with extension .swf. in Internet Explorer Version 6.0.
let me give you more details.
In our website development we had developed one video file control which takes one clip from harddrive and load and play into Internet Explorer.
Problem is that in my machine it's working fine into IE 6.0 as well as when we running from window media player it's working fine but same code and same clip is not working into different machine with same IE 6.0(same file is working into diff. machine window media player also) and it's also not giving any error also just one control square box is coming without doing any thing.
Now i had checked several check point from browser settings by allowing activex control enable and deleted offline cache but it didn't work.
do i have to do any settings from my server side becoz in website no one can go to each and every client machine.
Can some body help me out what is exact solution for problem?
