Could someone plz help me?
Im a beginner programmer and I hav gone through the article called "Using Events and Delegates in C#" posted by Graham Harrison on the 21 Oct 2005.
I am havin proplems with coding the Main form or GUI.
I dropped a comboBox on my form and used a string array called invoiceIds with the values{"1","2","3","4"} and populated the comboBox in Form_Load() with these array values.
This is my problem : Now I want a MsgBox to pop up when a different invoiceId is selected from the comboBox. The MsgBox must say what the new invoiceId is and also what the previous invoiceId was.
Its pretty much the same as the article, except the article doesnt explain or show much of the MainForm code.

You don't have to know much about events to use them.
Select the combobox in the form designer and switch the properties window to show events. Doubleclick in the value field for the event you want to use (probably SelectedIndexChanged in this case), and the form designer will create a method stub for you, and hook it up to the event.

так а что там не понятного? вроде все доступно написано, если в папки есть что-то еще, это чтото еще в аррай по типам папка\файл раскидай, и делить все по очереди. непонятно будет зайди на www.csharp.net.ru все распишут что непонятно.

Hello
I am using .net 2.0 windows application. I am using datagridview. I want to display the data in master and child relation ship. i.e displaying in the form of Expand & Collase mode.
This is straight forward in .NET 1.1 winforms DataGrid.
anybody anysounds
plz help how to do this usng VS 2005.

I tried the function but
xmlDocument.Validate(new ValidationEventHandler(this.ValidationHandler));
is not calling the below function.
private void ValidationHandler(object sender, ValidationEventArgs e){// Do something}
Is there anything else to be done to link the eventhandler with the below function

No, there's nothing more to do. The code works perfectly in my application.
Note that the event handler only gets executed if your xml file is invalid wrt. to the schema.

What do you mean with implement. If you need to throw such an exception just do it:
throw new SoapException();

I guess if i use soap exception class i can customize and output the error message in XML tag. I can also customize the error message through soap exception class. Can u give me a simple example.

that is not possible that there is no oledb and adapters in vs2005... did you check the System.Data.OleDb namespace?
if not try adding the refferance to it to your project (it might not be there?).
and if still not yuo have a problem in your .NET framework or VS2005
