I have a HTML form that people need to fill out ona website they then need to click submit nd i need to it to be emailed to an email address but i am tryning to avoid using asp or anything that reqiures me to name each and every tag that i have on the page.

In this case, you can solve your problem by writing a custom CGI application which read and parse the HTTP raw data. It is not difficult, but can take some time.

You want to send an email possible by using outlook.
That mail had a form in it and you want it to post directly to another email cause you don't have a web domain/server or you don't know how to recieve post request and send emails through asp/php/jsp/etc.

right?

have you tried "mailto:yourmail@yourisp.com" as the target?
Sure forms can post to emails , but what you get is angly url-encoded pairs of names/values. (Please Don't ask me how you can format the reply)

In VBScript there is a function CreateObject which takes a String, that allows you to call functions from a dll.

Is there a equivalent in javascript?

Hello all,
I have created a search button that is saved in a .js file. In .NET my main page with the frames is just called WebForm1.aspx. In the .js script I can get the search results to open in a new window, however I want them to display in a frame called FrameMainDisplay. I tried the following code:
top.frames['FrameMainDisplay'].item.location.href = 'WebForm1.aspx';

When running I get 'error on page' in the lower left hand corner.

How do I correct this?

Im trying to execute DOS command from Javascript in JSP. My code is:

var shell = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell");

Nothing happens after var shell = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell")if any Alert msg given. No error found.Pls help..WSH also installed
