Hello All,
I'm trying to develop a mobile application which gives the current price of a particular share(which changes fequently). So i need to get the new price of that share whenever it changes. I have tried to REFRESH the form so that pageload works again & we can fetch the changed price from the database ---but in vain!
I tried this too:-

but it doesn't work. What is this , I got the above code from the net. Is this some set of controls.
Iam using Visual Studio .Net 2003
Can anyone suggest a solution.

High,
I am designing embedded systems for my private use - such as: central heating control, fire alarms, automatic watering systems for the garden, fully-automatic wine-production in my cellar and so on.
Now  I want to add a convenient feature to my central heating control system: I want to check current and stored data (temperature/time/date matrix, etc) on request when I am not at home. And I want to be able to switch on and off my central heating unit from abroad. All by using a common mobile phone which communicates with an embedded modem chipset which is connected to the controlling µP of the central heating control system.
Can anybody help me with easy to use code (basic, plain C or ASM since I am short with memory) how to send SMS via a serial modem?

Hello,
I'm currently working on a school project concerning of a Pocket PC Application, in which I've got to work around with databases and SQL codes. So far, I'm currently testing how to insert data submitted by the user into the database.
So I've got 2 forms. In the first form, I've created the Database using an engine, I've also created a table with the specific SQL command, and I've also made a method which runs every time the form loads;the method just fills a datagrid with the information from the data table.
The second form contains textboxes in which the user inputs the necessary information. At the end, there's an insert SQL statement which inserts the specified data in the data table. Then, it closes the second form, going back to the first one.
Now, my application works fine until I insert the data in the second form, then come back to the first one. I get the following exception message:
"A managed SqlCeException occurred at Application::Run+01xa
Application::Run+01xa
Form1::Main+0xa
OK to terminate"
Could anyone hint out what the problem might be,or some possible causes of this exception? Any help would be appreciated.

I am using embeded vc3.0 to develop Pocket PC program, the problem is that I can not connect to server and I can only copy my release appliction into disk space of Pocket PC ,and I can not download my executive into Pocket PC in debug mode.Please tell me how to fix this problem and may be i need to do some configration?

Things I'm particularly interested in knowing are:
1) How passwords are stored in the registry, and if any encryption is used.

Hi all,
Currently I am developping a C# web service in which it acts as a proxy server for internet access & navigation.
It is supposed that the web service should receives requests from mobile devices clients such as cell phone or pocket PC then it should send back the WML pages for the clients. By the way, the clients application will be J2ME application. Anyone can help me by ideas or resources for that ?

From the Setting->About. We can see "OS version", "RIL version", "Radio version"..etc. Is any body know how to get these information? I think these info. can be retrieved by some API, but i can't find it.

Hi,
I am looking for an open source helpdesk system to use in my work place. It is a small organisation with about 150 - 200 users. I want the system to have a client for the pocket pc so that technicians can log and updated calls when they are out of the office, and have them synced with the helpdesk when then return to the office. Does anyone know if such system exists and if so, could you send me a link to it.
