I trying to loop too but i failed. What is the syntax for looping. BElow is what i done but it is wrong.

I guess the loop is allright, but i'm not familiar with VB.NET, but i can see that there is a logical mistake in your code. You're trying to add each time inside your loop the same parameter. But you need each time you loop a new command which is going to insert the data into your database.
Once that is done, then you can step to the next item.
For your information, maybe you can get some information out of it to transform it to VB.Net i've sketched it in C#:
CheckBoxList chkList = new CheckBoxList();
foreach(CheckBox chkBox in chkList.Items) {
if(chkBox.Checked) {
}

You simply put the logic for accessing the database into a mouseover event handler...

Dear All,
My problem is that I've made an ActiveX component in C#. This component uses .NET Remoting to load an Excel File from the server. To view the excel file I've used AxSpreadSheet. Besides the AxSpreadSheet component the ActiveX control has two buttons as well.
When I try to load it on the webform it gets loaded successfully only if I remove the AxSpreadSheet from the ActiveX component. With it, the webform doesn't load it.
To load it on the WebForm I am using the following code in HTML

On pageload for example you can add an attribute to the hyperlink control where you can define some javascript to show the correct image.
hplHyperlink.Attributes.Add("onmouseover", "javascript that sets the image");
hplHyperlink.Attributes.Add("onmouseout", "javascript that removes the image");

When you put the persons name in the hyperlink, you already have this information right? Why don't build the javascript on that moment instead of waiting till the user goes on mouse-over?
When you're going to get information from your database on a mous-over event it's going to be a lack of performance.
Off course you can do this, but then you'll have to take the step to AJAX technology, but I personally wouldn't use it for a mouseover.

You can use it just like JavaScript if you are talking about client side. If you are talking about server-side then I think it is not possible.
In case of client side, use JavaScript instead!

Don't understand why you should wish to find it in the global.asax.
It's a file where you can put some code when something happens with your Application (your website that's running), Session (user specific) or when some error occured ...

Actaully , My problem is like this:-
I am developing web pased application in ASP.net.it contains almost 60 web pages.I have to store , how many times a web page is hit by user. I have written code on page.ispostback=false. its working well but i need a solution rather writing each and every page when page loads first time.I got solution in global.asax
Sub Application_BeginRequest(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As EventArgs). its working well but any how I have to find for each and every page when page loads first time in global.asax.So that I can manage exact hit by user.

I see the problem.
I did not work this out but I think it's a good thougt to start with:
Each user which is visiting your website gets a unique session id, you could make a collection where you keep a unique combination of a specific session id and the page url. When Application_BeginRequest is fired you can check if for that session id the mentioned url is already in the collection, if not ad it. When you want to know how many unique hits you got, you can get the count of the collection ...

-there's a product id im getting from the database and put on the url like so..http://mfashion/productlist?productID=2
-is there a way or which is the best way i can get that productid from the from the url..cause i want to use that id through out my apps.

You might look at the Request object.

Also, you will need to trap for nulls.

hi all,
how can i delay the download of a file like on sourcefourge and alot of other sites where you get a link saying 'If your download doesnt start in 5 secs please click here' or something simlar.
i had been doing it on page load or pre_render but the page doesnt load. This way looks alot better.

You have to have two pages. The first one is used to display that "if your download ..." text. The second streams the file to the user (download.aspx).
So all you have to do is redirect the use on the first page to the second. You use JavaScript for that (a simple document.location can do the trick). And you make a timer with setTimeout() to make the user wait for X seconds.
