I am using windbg for stack trace a crash in my program.
Kb command gives only this stack trace..
ChildEBP RetAddr Args to Child
0012fd60 00000000 77c5aca0 00000000 0012fdb0 MyProg!_output+0x18
I don't see any other callstack and RetAddr..
Can anyone let me know how can I get more info about the cause of the stack..

The standard command I issue is "kvn 1000". Of simply select "View->Call Stack" and use the button to select what you're interested in.

when ever i try to open ClassWizard through Ctrl+W or by right click. when ClassWizard dialog opens . A messagebox is popping up.saying *.plg file is modified outside the editor do you want to reload it? to fix this i have closed the Visual Studio editor and deleted *.NCB file and *.Clw file and i have rebulid the entire project. Even doing so the problem is not fixed i am facing the same problem. pls help me how can avoid this message box popping up so that i can access the classwizard.thank u.

I think you have this file *.plg open in the editor. Go to the menu -> Window->And then select the *.plg file. It opens up in the editor. Now close it using Ctrl+F4 or close it using the X button etc.
This file is generated during the compile and link process.
this is this.

I used to delete the following files.
*.APS
*.NCB
*.OPT
*.PLG And sometimes the below when it gets more trouble.
*.CLW
*.DSW

You have to pass its address to Windows so it knows what to call back.

You might be confusing Registering Windows Messages with using Callback functions. They are not the same thing.

Hi! I'm using TWAIN to interface with a scanner. The function DSM_Entry is accessed via a loaded DLL, TWAIN_32.DLL:
m_hTwain = LoadLibrary(_T("TWAIN_32.DLL"));
m_DSMEntryProc = (DSMENTRYPROC)GetProcAddress(m_hTwain, (LPCSTR)MAKEINTRESOURCE(1));
I then call the procedure using:
TW_UINT16 nRes =(*m_DSMEntryProc)(&m_appID, pDest, dg, dat, msg, pData);
however, some calls need for pDest to be null, (like the triplet DG_CONTROL / DAT_IDENTITY / MSG_USERSELECT for those who know TWAIN).
Unfortunately,when pDest is null for this call, an access violation appears. For other triplets, the call is OK. Has anyone encountered this before? Am I passing "NULL" the wrong way?

343/33 = 10.393939393939393939393939393939
(10.393939393939393939393939393939-10)*33 = 13
Now to verify
10*33 + 13 = 343
The result should be 13 not 7.

show current time before process starts...and show the end time when process done..
