Friends,
I've downloaded some icons available from the internet. These are 32x32 icons while i need 16x16 icons or vice versa. Sometimes i need to convert these icons to bitmaps of my desired size and colors and sometimes i need to convert bitmaps to icons.
Can you please suggest me some good tool(s) fot these kind of job. I know that google is my friend and there are many tools available, but i need the suggestion of CPians in this regard.

hi,

I want to create a video player in vc++.It should play jpeg files continously(frame by frame).so that it will look like a movie.

While playing jpeg files,i want to store each jpeg file in a new folder.

Please give me examples or any links related to this.

Hi,

I am trying to create a video player in VC++.I have collection of bmp files.
first i need to convert this bmp files to jpeg files.

Using the player,I want to run the converted jpeg file continously.Also i need to store each converted jpeg file to a new folder.

Hope u could understand my problem..

You may create a picture control and set the bitmaps to it with the particular time stamp

may you will get any idea from it

and for conversion of the bmp to jpeg see the following link

You need to convert bmp files to jpeg or you need to create video file?
Can you be more specific store each converted jpeg file to a new folder.?

Puja,
Set a timer, have a picture control.
name your jpegs as jpeg1, jpeg2..... jpeg1000

for each interval play next form the jpeg name and put it in picture control
it may have movie effect.

if you want to create movie with your jpeg files you can use AVIFile Functions
but you need to convert from jpeg to hbitmap and then size output file is big because use from bitmap

also I suggest see MCI Functions maybe it is some helpful to you

Hi I have to do a lot of calculation after some item change is trigared.
but when multiple events are selected togather the OnItemchanged will be trigared many times.
How to avoid this when bulk of events are selected or unselected?
Is there any message which is send after all the item change messages are send?
is there any way in whic i can call itemchange only once even if multiple events are selected togather

You can solve it by setting a timer of a small delay on selection change and processing the change in the timer event. Notice that this timer should be deleted first in the OnTimer.
Eg.
OnSelChange()
{
SetTimer( IDT, 50, 0 );
}

OnTimer(UINT id)
{
if( id == IDT )
{
KillTimer( id );
ProcessSelection();
}
}

Hi,
this seems to be one option but then again there is perfomance problem.
i want to avoid calling the calculation function which is bulky for each items. it will be batter to call it in one struch after all the items ater is changed due to some user interaction.
can you suggest some messages which will be trigared after all the item change messages are send?
