i can't remember the dos command that lists out the sockets and ports that are being used etc... its not ipconfig...what is it? os=win xp

Hi,
I have a Java Script that is trying to make a check box visible if the user manually changes a field. The event is firing, however the code is not working and I do not see what I did wrong. Take a look and kindly let me know.

The document.getElementById is working using alerts to debug, its the manualauthcode.style.visibility = "visible" that is not working.

Its hidden in the .ASPX body via a Visible="False"

Then it's not rendered to html at all, so there is nothing to show. You have to hide it using css to be able to show it using css.

As Guffa said, there's no control to make visible. Use the .Style collection to modify CSS styles.

I'm going from memory, but something like: ctrl.Style("visibility") = "hidden"; should do it.

I Have 2 Drop Down ListBox.On the Page Load, I populate the data from the database in the 1st listbox.When I Select Any Item from the listbox which contains any type of brackets like (),{},[], It will refreshes the Selected Item and shows the first item of the 1st list box. Due to this problem I m Not Able to populate the data from the database in the 2nd drop down ListBox.
Please suggest the appropriate suggetions for this:

Hello all...
I am testing a web application using C#, i am creating an automated test and i managed to click images, buttons, and links on the web page using MSHTML library, but i have two questions:
1. How can i move the mouse pointer to the button or the image or anything i click?
2. How can i select from a dropdown menu (combobox)?

I've a little problem. I try to make slideshow. I have a sample writen in java and here is where i stuck. I want to take pictures from a database i have tables for albums and images i retrived them with ViewImage.aspx?img= or by album with Privew.aspx?album= i think i have to put this links somewhere in my javascript i think i need to make some modifications but i don't know how. I use this project like template so everithing is preaty same. If you can tell me good article or sample code i will be very thankful or just tell me how to correct this code.

Hi, I need help with a Custom validator in C#. The validator is supposed to perform the following logic on two controls, a checkbox and a textbox
if the checkbox is checked, then the textbox is required
if the textbox has text in it, the the checkbox must be checked

Validators work on only one input object at a time. You could write the javascript to enforce your rules and then also check those rules on the server side. At that point, you could probably stick both into a custom validator. You'll probably have to add properties to choose which checkbox and which textbox to validate.
An alternative is to create your own web control containing the checkbox and textbox, then add your validation logic to the web control.
