how to move the button controls inside panel

hi,
I have an application where i have created the button control array at the run time inside a panel and i am using one more panel to drag those buttons and drop them one by one.now i want to move these buttons inside the panel to whichever popition and keep them there.So how i can do this?

Hi,

in my Database table i have some column like content which contains html tags like <B> HAI</B>.
while retreiving i want to display hai in bold format.
but it is displaying like with bold tags hai
in web server.htmlencode we used.

in Windows application is there any method .

There are no WinForms controls provided by Microsoft that parse HTML syntax and display the content accordingly. Infragistics has a control called the UltraFormattedLinkLabel (or something like that) which provides that functionality. If you need that funcionality and don't want to buy the Infragistics controls, you'd need to parse the text yourself and somehow display the contents with the supplied formatting.

Hi, I want to insert into my database some information, I have everything in file a.txt:

a.txt contains about 10 000 records. I run this program, but everytime it breaks, it shows error that data would be truncated... how can I fix that?

That means that some of the insert statements have data that is too large to fit in the specified maximum size for that field in the database.

Why don't you include the instert statement that caused the error in the error message?

different record every time, for example now it stoped after inserting second record:

in table kodas is nvarchar 100;
liga is nvarcha 150;

Without studying your code too closely - are you sure that you are not getting truncation errors because you are trying to insert a string which is too large for the field? ie. a 50 char string when the field is defined as VarChar(40)?

Also, this line:

while (eilute != "" || eilute == null)

looks suspect. While loops normally run while a variable != null.

Hi,

I would like to know how to call particular methods (test cases) in the assembly using NUnit Console. I guess, this is possible in NUnit GUI, since we can right click and say 'Expand' or 'Run'.

I would like to have this behavior from within NUnit Console.

I don't think you can do this. What you can do however is mark the tests with a category attribute and just run the tests in a given category.

Hi,
I'm trying to remove checkbox from datagridview column on certain rows.

I have a grid with a datagridviewcheckboxcolumn, in my grid I've got headerrows as i call them and subrows. I want to remove the checkbox from all headerrows but keem them in the subrows.

Does anyone have a solution for that?

In grid where you are identifying row as headerrow (DataBound event) at the same place you can set visible false of check box.

i've tried that.. but it's a read only property... only returns true or false whether the checkbox is in the visible area of screen... as i figured it anyway...

Hi there

I seem to remember seeing an article where someone showed how to populate a System.Windows.DataGrid on a Form by using databinding. Almost like how it's done in Asp.Net.

Or is the only way to work with a WinForms datagrid, to databind to a DataTable in the disconnected way?

I am trying to develop a control which will be some what similar to Sql Server Relation diagram.

Problems:
1.
I inherited my control from a list box. Now i want to draw, but the problem comes when i draw any thing it doesn't get displayed. But when i copy paste code on a form it displays the items. Couldn't understand why it doesn't work on a control.

2.
I don't know how to drop any thing on a control. I tried a simple drag drop by draging an item from a list box to my control nothing happend.

i.e i have one exe file,i given to some other person now he was loading that exe but in his machine does not have any framework to load that exe. At that time default it will load all the things which are required to load that exe.

hi !

u can do some thing like this ... if ur working in VS.net 2005---
right click the setup project>>> add prerequesites like .net framework , report viewer >> then from the radiobutton choose download from same location..to add framework in ur project ..
rebuild the project....

done...

else..

search google for ".net bootstrapper plugin" download and install that plugin. the framework will automatically added in ur project..

try it..
