 Hi - I am having a problem with my project whereby the form name changes to 0 when the program is running - the code is ME.text = "Calculator" and this stays in the top blue line for a random period of time then changes to 0 - this is especially annoying when the app is minamized just seeing 0 on the task bar.
Is there a compiler switch I need to set - the problem only occures with my program.
Can anyone help me please?

If only it were that simple - no, my code is not doing this.

Form names do not magically change, they have to be told to do so. Any chance thisprogram is doing something out of the ordinary that you maynot 100% understand?
Other programs can get a handle to your form and change its name, but this is less likely.

Hi,
I've found a very interesting exaple in c#.net.

But I want to use it in vb.net project.
So I want to convert all that needed into vb.net format.
But I have some problems with it.
Could anyone help me to convert.
I only need one example of right actions.
For example, can anyone convert for me ExtendedDataGridFormSample form and component?

If I may use these files only adding them all to my vb project then could you please tell me what I need to do to use them?

You need to add areference to a compiled DLL. Then you can use those classes as any other .NET or your class.

You can call it anything you want, but usually they're called "OK" and "Cancel". The simplest form of this is to put these 2 buttons on a form and in the click events set the forms DialogResult property. You also set the form's AcceptButton property to the OK button and its CancelButton property to the Cancel button (after you put the buttons on the form!)
Private Sub OKButton_Click(blah, blah) Handles OKButton.Click
Me.DialogResult = DialogResult.OK
Me.Close()
End Sub
Private Sub OKButton_Click(blah, blah) Handles OKButton.Click
Me.DialogResult = DialogResult.Cancel
Me.Close()

In the form that puts this form up:
Dim myNewForm As Form2
If myNewForm.DialogResult = DialogResult.OK Then

myNewForm.Dispose()
There's a more to forms and buttons than this, but way too much for a forum environment.

I have create an application which receive a command argument,
The sub main will check the process list, if the same with my application process name,
it will terminate. It is my stupid method to control single instance.
But how can I get the second command argument?
For example,
First time, command argument is "Hello"
and the application shows "Hello"
Second time, command argument is "World!"
but the process list contains my process name, and so it terminate.
How can I send the "World!" to existing instance of my application?
Can I add any listener to do that except adding a watch file handler?
Please advise, Thank you!
