Hi all,
How can I pass the value from one page to another? I pass the value using querystring but i don't want to use querystring because value is seen in the URL so please help me...........

How can possible this template access all information form data base and run on browser as new web site.
this same as many web site taken information form user and make new website online at same time.Acording to user input.

I have read in a paper that th link: http://yousite.com/displayCategory.aspx?CategoryID=5 is more "hackable" than that link http://yoursite.com/products/Widgets
I don't understand this,

With CategoryID=5 method, a user can change it at will from their browser. So we can have CategoryID=6, or CategoryID=7 right away even though the user won't know what category it represents till they go there. With /products/Widgets the user won't know what other categories there are /products/???.
Beyond that a hackable URL is one in which we can take a URL and move to a higher level by 'hacking' off the end of it. so /products/Widgets will show us the Widgets. And /products might show us a list of products. Also if we know the product name we can add it directly at the end of it like so /products/ProductName. Hackable URLs are more search engine friendly.

4-i want for each image to take new name

I think what you want is
1. thumbnail view of image
2. Normal View of Image
3. Renaming both of them.
I think you are using some component for Image Uploading. There are components available on net through which you can resize image and rename that image. All you have to do is to search the net. 
Or you can simply fix the size of a single image in 2 different image source. But the problem is, you have to face image distortion.

I am using Session Object to track the user visit. After the Logout of user the asp pages he had visitied remains in the browser history. So how can I remove those pages from browser, so that the user to again login to view the pages again. Can anyone help me in this regard.

i've a little problem....
when i open a page on a popup window using hayberlink, it's working fine...
but the problem when i use the button....
when i click on submit the window wouldn't be a popup... it's appears as a _blank target...
????????

You can't post a form to a popup window unless it is already open.
Here is an example on how to open a popup when the form is being posted:

If you want to send them as form data, add hidden fields to the form. If you want to send them in the querystring, add them to the url in the action property of the form.

I have an .asp page in which I would like to give a download option for the client to download some documets. Please can some one help me to write a simple code behind the button or behind the link to get dialog box to allow the client to download the file and save it where ever he need to save..

if u have file to be downloaded on your server just give hyperlink to that file and automatically a winodw will appear when user click on that link....
am i not right????

Thanks a lot for your quick response. The problem is that it is working fine for word power point or zip files. But it can not open the dialog box for .pdf or .swf files. it is trying to open these type of files directly in the browser itself.
Please help me out in this way. I need that regardless of type of file it is it must be downloaded by opening the dialog box.
