Have you looks at your forms' Top, Left, Width, and Height properties? All you ahve to do is save those values to a file or to a registry key. You might want to look into the SaveSetting[^] function for a simple implementation.

You can use Location too, it's the same thing as the Top and Left properties. But problem with it is that you can't write a Location object as a single value to a registry key.

welll man sorry buth i wanted that answer quick and i havent sleep in the end i have used top left buth i was nerwous and you answered me like i dont know basics... sorry men i will controll my self!!! i am realy sorry i dont want to fight becose this site, this forum is the best one and i like this site. the problem was that i have to make an app for school and i wanted to do it quickly buth i stucked and then i have a question and i know i can save with top left buth i wanted how to save location point... well men sorry in the end i have completed the app...

Almost every post that you have made so far at CodeProject has been "Urgent" one way or another.
Take a look for yourself[^]
We understand that sometimes, especially with school/work, things are urgent to you - but that does not mean they are urgent to us! We are here on our spare time, often at work ourselves, and we can only answer you when WE get time... not when YOU need it.
You have been inpolite for no reason, and certainly not because you could not speak the language. I would not be surprised if you see less answers to your questions from now onwards.

The .NET Framework versions 1.0 and 1.1 didn't include any support for NTFS Security, including file ownership. This didn't show up until the .NET Framework 2.0 was released which includes that System.Security namespace.
It's not as easy as you might think to do something so simple. See this[^] for an example.

What do you mean by "scan"???
The basic framework is a recursive function (one that calls itself) with a path to "scan". You'll get the list of files in that path (directory, folder, what have you) and do whatever you need to on those files. You'll then get the list of subfolders in that path, build a new path with each of those subfolder names, and the function will call itself with each new path. A little pseudo-code:
Private Sub ScanFolder(ByVal path As String)
' Get list of files in "path" and process them.
' Get list of folders in "path"
For Each subFolderName In SubFolders
newPath = path + "\" + subFolderName
ScanFolder subFolderName
Next
End Sub

Hi,
I'am looking for a code to refresh crystal reports at runtime.One code I used is :
crviewer1.refresh
where crviewer1 is the name of the crystal report object in VB6.But I'am getting the following error :
" Method refresh of the object crviewer1 is invalid. "
