Everything I'm doing is on .NET 2003.
I just wrote a C# class library and compiled it, no problem. Then I started a new C# project that uses the library (let's call this app the controller) and referenced my lib. I also added the "using Library;" line at the top of the controller app.
When typing code in the MS IDE I see the classes w/in the lib (Library. gives a list of public classes) but members and methods do not appear. (Library.class. gives an empty list other than the MS base methods).
When I use public methods by hard-typing, everything compiles.
How do I get intellisense to work?

Is this a pb with namespaces and class names? The structure of symbols is:
namespace CLib
{
interface IC
{
}
public C : IC
{
}
}
I put "using CLib" in my controller app.

I have seen a program which can switch it's form appearance by command to following looks (Windows XP, Office 2000, Office Xp and Office 2003).
Which property is to use for changing these different styling. (or perhaps some more interesting ?

Hello,
Is there a way of telling which of the tab pages is active (open)?
I can't use Focused, or ContainsFocus, because I want to tell on the button fire event. And, when that happens, tab page obviously looses Focus. Is there any other way?

I'm writing an application that needs to capture sound from a capture device; studing the DirectSound example "CaptureSound" I managed to capture audio from my soundboard but experimenting I noticed that in my resulting audio files there are also all the other sound played by the system (i.e.system beeps, messenger sounds etc..). How can I capture only audio from a specific input source (if possible using only DirectSound)?

Hi,
I would like to create something i.e. a Job so that the .txt files can be imported into a sql server 2005 database tables.
The system has to be flexible so that I can tell it where the .txt file (Source) is and to which database I want to import to.
This system has to sit outside sql server, so I guess I can not use something like DTS ???
Any ideas please?

The whole idea is:
What we need to do is make sure we can run this job without needing to use SQL wizards.
And that we can run it on different source data into different databases.
I wonder if this is possible in DTS ?

If you're using .NET 2.0, take a look at Click Once deployment.
Using this, you 'publish' your application to a website. Your users download the application from the website, and from that point forward when they run the application it automatically checks if there is a new version of itself available and fetches it if need be.
There's very little you need to do to get this to work, and works well in an Intranet environment.

Its very much helpful for me. Is it possible to install the downloaded application in a quite mode. Using command line arguement "/q" we can install the application in a quite mode when we are installing the msi r exe file from the command prompt or from any other .Net application using the Process.Start with the arguement "/Q". Is it possible to do in the same way in the ClickOnce deployment.
Is it possible to get the values an do some processing like, checking the Licencse key and getting the email id or pin from the user or client.

In the validation summary control, it display the errors as lists.. with maybe a message like: Error: registration not successful. How do I disable that the error list don't show, I only want the Error message to show.
I thought of taking out the validation summary control and putting in a label control, that displays this message. I set it to visible="false". I'm assuming this must be set to visible="true" on the client side? How do I do this? How do I "link" this label so that when there is an error it will trigger the label to show?

Every DHCP network has a DHCP server, and every DHCP server has a lease table. Every DHCP Lease table has a correlation of Mac to IP. I want to be able to access the information in the DHCP Lease Table without shutting down services. The Microsoft DHCP management console can do this, and the W2K3 admin pack (installed on a client computer) allows this to happen from a remote computer, so I know it can be done. Not all DHCP servers are Windows machines, some are Routers, some are Linux, etc. So is there a way of accessing the information in the Lease table regardless if it is on a Windows server, router, etc.? Could perhaps output the information to a .csv file in a temp folder for input/review for our program.

Can you determin the filesize of files that are opened by another application?
(You can by using File.Open(path, FileMode.Open).Length, but the open will fail if the file is in use)
I need to check the total size of files in a certain directory, if it reaches a certain treshhold I need to delete them (kill the process, delete the files, restart the process)
