CFile::GetLength I hope helpful for you

Hi ,
Is there any function that counts the no of drives including the cdRom , Flopy drive .
Does it's function member has the facility to contain
every drive name when using looping.
Like in VB.net

Earlier , I was send the link . But the project is using loop that loops from 'A' to 'Z' for drives and the form takes more time to load.

use GetLogicalDriveStrings[^] to get all the drives (a:,c: ....)
To check the type of drive use GetDriveType[^]

for every new input ,the old input stays on screan....
It should be non-negative number and keep doing that til a non-negative number is entered.
distance increase at 0: 0
distance increase at 1: 2
distance increase at 2: 3
distance increase at 3: 2
distance increase at 4: 4
distance increase at 5: -2
distance increase at 5: (non-negative input):1

Hi All,
I am trying to move a .prj from the old vc. 7.0 edition to the 2005 express edition (2.0).
The .prj had an include to the afx.h, a file that does not exist in my new computer. Thus the .sln does not compile.
same applies to such files as windows.h afxwin.h,and afxdcdtel.h
Does anyone have any advice, since I am very ignorant in such matters.

its because express edition do not have MFC.

or is there an option to enable it in the express version?

I am not sure if you can use MFC with the express edition. But as I understand there is an incomplete version of MFC in the platform SDK. Instrcutions to integrated platform SDK with express editions are here[^]and here[^]. If your app is simple then this might work, in case it doesnt then you must buy at least standard edition of VS.
