i want to access sql server in a defferent location. I pass the connection string through a web service on the server but it gives me this exception
system.web service exceptionerror server was unable to process request. Server does not exit or access denied

what access level are you trying to access it from? if you can't get in with the sa login it's possible you're hitting the firewall at the host...?

You can't add a folder to an application. An application is not a container, so how could you possibly add a folder to it?
Or are you asking how to add a folder for an ActiveX .DLL PROJECT?
What is a .VPB file? You can't save as application as an arbitrary file. What are you trying to do with this?

How to count freqency of letters appeared in a textbox as input?Let say we type 'I believe', thus the code should count how many each letter appears and also in percentage.
e.g. Letter 'E', Frequency = 3, percentage = 0.3 % (out of all letters)
Any code example on this? thank you~

How do you think the problem would be solved?
Here are some highlevel hints: Create some way to map letters to a count. Iterate through the string and add one to the relevant count for each letter you encounter. Add one also to an total counter (so you know how many letters there are in total, so you can work out the percentage) When you finish the iteration of the string, iterate through the map and output the frequency of each letter and its percentage (by the way, you need to work on that calculation as the letter 'E' occurs 37.5% of the time, not 0.3%)

I've tried using javascript, which kind of easier.I only tried out two letter which 'a' and 'b'..how can i proceed until 'z' in much easier way?

Given that this is the Visual Basic.NET forum, I would have expected you to be using that.
Anyway, did you think of using an array to hold the totals in? Create an array with 26 elements starting each at 0. item[0] represents A; item[1] represents B; and so on........

There is the language Property for every form. Begin with one language. Enter the test property for every control, then change the language of the form and fill the text properties for the new language. If the language is found it will be set to the windows startup language (I hope so, didn't tried it on my own, but a fellow worker did this).

Well, you find it in the property-window (there I found it) when you have selected the form itself.

I have a csv format report "A" and an excel file "B" contains two macro, the first macro will convert the csv report to a xls file "C", after that I want to copy the second macro in "B" to "C", so that I could open "C" and load the macro directly in the future.
