Hi there everyone! I'm not specifically looking for help on "a project." I am more looking for a partner to program with, making a product from start to finish.
Team name: No name at the moment.
Project name: No project defined.
Brief description:
I have recently began looking into extreme programming and think it would be very exciting to work with someone on some type of application (just a small application) using extreme programming techniques.
I have no project in mind at the moment, and would love to speak with potentials on what interests them, what they feel they are capable of, and so on.
Target aim:
I believe strongly in open source, so I would be hoping to release as open source. The main aim of this project is (as selfish as it sounds) to teach myself and apply extreme programming, and hopefully enlighten other people along the way.
Compensation:
It's all freeware so I'm afraid I can't offer anything.
Technology:
.NET framework 2.0 - Language is negotiable between C#, boo and vb.net (that order is my preference).
Talent needed
I'm looking for people who have the following:
- Knowledge of extreme programming principles: test driven development, user stories, DRY, refactoring and so on.
- Strong knowledge of the .NET framework
- Moderate experience with design patterns
- Beliefs in readable code!
Also, it would be nice if your from the UK or have good English because I wouldn't mind discussing things other Skype. That is, however, just a nice-ety!
Team structure:
It's just myself at the moment, so I'll give you a bit of background. I'm a 16 year old programmer from the UK with a passion for readable, organised code. I have had tendancies to over complicate code in the past, abstracting out too much etc so I'm trying to discipline myself new techniques that should make me a better programmer.
I have been programming since the age of around 12, but my strong programming really started around 14. I've been doing C# and .NET for about 1 and half years and have great interests in it. I consider myself a reasonably strong programmer, certainly around or above average for those my age.

Im a 14 year old UK C# programmer with skype 
currently im fininshing off (debugging) a project, but I can fit two in and then when I finish this one ill have double the time, but ive got more than enough spare time most days. Ill add you to skype now.

I'd be really gratefull if anyone would test my app before I release it to Betanews. It's an outlook app, sits on your desktop and monitors your tasks and calendar. I think I got all the bugs out the otherday but can never be to carefull.
The really cool thing is the UI is 100% customizable via XHTML and CSS...

Hello everyone! 
Alright... I want to experiment some with SDL[^], does anyone know of a good idea for a game? 
It's gotta be a 2D, tile-based game, and I was thinking this idea would be awesome:
A game in which many people connect to a server, and there will be 2 game modes:
1. All against one: At the start of the game, one player will be randomly chosen, and then all of the other players have to "catch" that player, and whoever catches him, becomes the new chosen one, and everyone has to catch him/her. (Her? Do girls even play games?  ) At the end of the game (specified time limit in the server), the player who catches more gets more points.
2. One against all: Same as above, one player gets chosen randomly, but then, s/he has to catch any of the other players, and whoever gets caught, has to catch the rest. At the end of the game, the player that gets caught less times will have more points.
Sounds fun? Any additions?

They invented the term "Web services" to describe a type of remote procedure call based on the work of the XML Protocol Working Group. To understand XRPC and the SOAP framework, you should go straight to the source[^].
Now, if you refer to "physical architecture" when you write "real architecture," then that's a hardware problem. If you mean "software framework," then may I please refer you to Microsoft's ASP.NET Web Services or .NET Remoting: How to Choose[^].

Hello.
I have developed the PC version of Idea Knot but I haven't been getting so much feedback on it after the release.
It is a free 10-days trial version developed in C#. (Idea Knot Demo)
Would be nice if some of you out there could test it and give me some feedback to what's good,bad and how to improve it.
It's just a simple tool to collect ideas in a fast and easy way no graphics can be saved.
Save pictures in XML makes the files just to big, If you want pictures and alot of functions you should try one note from microsoft.(think it's an overkill in storing ideas though  )
