QuestionHow to get hold of the scrollbar in a frame. Pin
Owner drawn12-Jan-06 22:15
Owner drawn12-Jan-06 22:15
Hi guys,

I am talking about MDI frames. Almost all of my hair I have plucked out. Dead | X|

Spy++ doesn't even mention them. But is there a way.

In a scrollview I can do this by returning a reference to my own scrollbars.

But I want to catch the other fellows i.e. built-in scroll bars that you get when you use the WS_HSCROLL or WS_VSCROLL window styles.

I see that XP decorates it's scrollbars and sometimes if we want to have a flat scrollbar we can have that too. Well if they can get them why can't I do that.

Please correct me If I am wrong.

This article by Paul Dilascia says it's not possible.
