Well, what is so fuunny about that is we do see about 5-10 messages per month asking questions about CListCtrl - how to select items, change text, change icons, etc. So it probably is a valid response if you answer those messages or post questions or articles about CListCtrl.
Mine might have been AfxBeginThread or WaitForSingleObject

Thanks!
P.S. is there a ClistCtrl hiudden in the banner?

Well, a few years ago (is it really that long?) people were racing to post the first CListCtrl thread in a survey. Unfortunately, I became a member too late to see the real action, but it was still a little bit funny when I got here.
Nowdays, most people don't like it anymore and the people who do submit CListCtrl answers are not even original anymore. The thing that bothers me the most is that they don't even have the guts to post it in a new thread and get voted down...

the question was: "How do you mostly participate in CodeProject?" and thats my (and a few other peoples) answer. am I trying to be funny? NO, so stop being an ass! intolerance on the internet is useless.

Trying to repeat jokes that were once funny isn't usefull either...

I read the results because I'm interested in this cummunity ant it's members are doing. The only thing that bothers me is that there is a growing number of people who try to be funny, while degrading the quality of the polls.
This might be innocent right now, but what if those people get bored here and start to pollute the forums with their bad jokes? If nothing will be done about that, the poor quality will sure chase invaluable members away. And thats the last thing that we want to happen don't we?
This may seem a bit catastrophic to you, but believe me, if we don't think about how people behave on the internet, and start to do something about the - now innocent forms of - terror, things could get ugly in the future.
So I ask you, if we let those people run in the wild, where does it all end?

No kidding. CListBox is good enough for most people anyway.

"Participate in the surveys" has not been selected by all of the voters.
How could they participate in this survey, without participating in the survey?

We're just lurking.
After all, it is Monday morning, and until I've had (much) more coffee I doubt I'll be able to contribute much to the discussion.

You have my sympathies. I'm in an unusually long migraine-free period. My typical pattern is to have 2-3 a month for several months, and then go a couple months without having any. I've only had a couple minor ones in the last 8 months or so.
With me, debugging is not an option when I have a migraine. I go home and go to bed. The drug I use for it (Fiorinal w/ codeine) doesn't leave me very functional .
Hope you feel better .

Thanks hun.
Unfortunately, I tend to get them once a month (funny, that!). When they hit, they usually last for 2-3 days, so as it started on Sunday I expect it will be past by tomorrow lunchtime.
Then I can get back to being my usual bouncy self.

I'm trying to cut down myself. A year ago it wasn't unusual for me to have drunk 6 mugs of coffee by midday, but I try to limit myself to 2 per day now.
If fresh grapefruit juice (my preferred beverage) was more widely available, I'd be laughing.
