Hi to myself, (and to others who are interested)
I have found a solution for the problem I mentioned above. It's not a problem of MDI or processbar, it's simly a question of understanding windows time schedule. Using
Application.DoEvents()
brought the success.
I thought that .net shares the cpu time automaticly within an application but that's wrong. If you want accept an reaktion from other parts of your program during long and time intensive operations you have to put one ore more DoEvents into these routines.

A simple Google search for something like "C# HTML Editor" will come up with tons of results.
In addition, I think a good idea is to take a look at existing similar controls. This will help you identify more clearly what and how you should do. It can help you even realise where to start from. Take a look here[^].

This is a problem of a collision , in a sport meeting ,there are two parts, each part have some events , two pars will be placed at the some time, the problem is that if someone will take part in several kinds of races, but the two parts’ items will be placed at the same time, how to solve this problem.
I built this software for a collage, if you know how to solve this problem ,please tell me .

now,if there are two kinds of sport items,p1 dnd p2,in the part one,there are items,we can think them as a1,a2,a3 and a4,maybe there are more than four.
in the other part there are also some items,just like b1,b2,b3 and so on.p1 and p2 would take place at the same time,of course the items of p1 and p2.now,if somebody will attend a1,and b1,but he can't attend the two sprots at the same time,so the system must solve this problem.I don't know how to arrange the contestants.

I still can't understand your description Harry. Try explaining a bit more clearly, leaving out unnecessary descriptions. Perhaps, tell us what data structures/types will the solution include if u know beforehand. Maybe somebody will understand a bit better if u do that.

Well, in general, one idea is to make an array of time slots. Let's say the events are every 15 minutes. So you have an array for each each person that, when they sign up for an event, fills in however long each event takes, starting at the appropriate 15 minute indexed interval. Then, when they sign up for another event, check the array to see if there's a time overlap.
You probably also need to take into account the time it takes to leave one event and get to another, so you can't have someone sign up for an event that ends at 1:30 and another that starts at 1:30, because they can't get to the next event in time!

i believe the system.management namespace can be used to monitor processes for instance determine processes that exceed 80% cpu utilization and then terminate them.
I wish to write an application which can monitor other applications to determine whether they are started,stopped, idling or hanging.
Can anyone provide me with related links or articles for this particular problem?

Well, ImportNode method is very straight forward. On call to XMLDocument's ImportNode method, the function returns you an XML node that belongs to this XMLDocument.
Collect this node in a reference and you can add this node whereever you want in the XMLDocument.
For example:
XmlNode newNode = documentOne.ImportNode (documentTwo.SelectSingleNode (..));
documentOne.ChildNodes [0].AppendChild (newNode);
...

I just started out in C programming not long ago , and i've been assigned to create a program which requires me to save the data executed when the program is running, into a so called temporary folder.
For example, When i log into my Internet Explorer, cookies would be stored in a temporary folder.
Would be great if some1 could show me how it goes.

The scenerio now would be a program source was created for the automation of a robot to avoid obstacles. In the event , I have to map out an area for the robot to move in.
So by doing that, i thought that i could collect the data( x and y axis ;points and numbers), when the robot is executed to move. By doing that i could actually map out an area using the reference data collected.

I'd suggest you start reading on the topic of "serialization", the framework has lots of documentation on this topic.
Basically, serialization is a way of writing data to disk, for example, so that it can be loaded (deserialized) fairly easily.

i have a dataset with 2 datatables link with one data relation, i had loaded the datagrid with the parent datatable, it shows the drill down button to the child table, but the problem is it only show a "link" to the childtable, i only can view the data in child table by clicking the "link", is there anyway to show the datarelation on the datagrid without the "link"?any help is greatly appreciated..

If you mean to show both parent and child data at the same time than it is not possible to do it with the DataGrid. If you need this you will have to do it yourself or look for another component.

I offer a service which is done using an application. It needs to be run on client machine, is there anyway I can get it through without making client manually downloaded the file first then ran it again manually? I have been looking at ActiveX but can't relly find an article that show me how.. I am really new to ActiveX though.
