I did post in the lounge a while back about it, but anyway, back in March 2020 after much research and hours/days of YouTube videos I took the plunge.
At the moment I am using the Astrophotography tag on my personal website for some of the images and articles, but I have also started making videos on YouTube to document how things are going.
Please checkin and have a look and would appreciate any subscribers, likes etc.etc. of course love to hear any feedback, tips or questions in the comments on any of the videos.
You can find it here:
Dave's Astrophotography - YouTube
I have also put a number of my galaxy, nebula and planet images at;

And my website at:

Thanks!

Thought I would fire up folding@home again as I hadn't tried it on Serenity build yet, the one I built last August.
So, as you can see in a couple of posts down, back in 2014, my 24hr point average was around 150,000. That was on a i7 3770k with a GTX 690. Now on the new build the 24 hour point average is around 2,100,000. That is quite a difference.
I might keep it going to regain the top spot on the CodeProject team list then shut it down again. or maybe switch teams to CureCoin and see how much crypto that generates and depending on the outcome then shut it down. It is currently heating the office up pumping out 58'c with the watercooling radiator fans on full speed.

Hi,
Abhishek this side aren't you participating Intel App Innovation Contest 2013?I thought your previous year entry was amazing learned a lot from the article you wrote later on.I am waiting for your entry.In this year's contest many people are trying to integrate E-Dice to their game.I have been studying(hours) about it in Lenovo's Developer Portal it's tough to integrate and not a matter of joke.Firstly it is not given in their documentation that you will have use the Oculus SDK for Augmented Reality or not.People who are considering using E-Dice will have to dig in deep. anyways it was nice dropping in a line to you.I feel Inspired by your Work.

Sadly not this year, I have had too much on to allow me to dedicate any time to it. And knowing how much time went into last years, I didn't want to make a start and then let myself and everone else down.
It is a shame as well, because I did have a couple of ideas, maybe save them for another one.

Don't know if this will work;
but it might, and will soon find out.
If it has, there should be an image of my face! Oooo Scary!
EDIT: What used to work has now stopped, so the image embed no longer works via url data attributes.

At long last, it finally came round on the 5th February 2012.
Just hope the imminent rep recount, doesn't screw this up!

When I looked at it, there was no attachment, about 3 lines of in article code and very little narrative.
The codeproject also uses a multi-moderation process, it needs to see 5 people reject before the item was closed. So others must be in agreement.
I see you have now created another one with an attachment, but you need to include sufficient discussion in the article and not rely on just an attachment. I am afraid your latest one will go the same way unless you bulk up the narrative.
The comments others have left are valid, go and look at some of the other highly rated articles e.g. from Sacha Barber or Pete O'Hanlon to name just two, and you will see the effort required to make an article.

This extension has been updated to V1.1, and includes the following;
1) Fix of critical 'ADD Template' bug.
2) Added additional 'Snippet' template type
3) Added Template Filter to the Editor (for All/Message/Answer/Snippet)
4) Added Template Filter to the Selector (for Auto/All/Message/Answer/Snippet)
The Auto filter in the selector will check the current page and filter applicable templates to the page type.
The article has been updated to reflect these changes, Google Chrome Extension - CodeProject Template Items[^].
The distribution server has also been updated with the latest packaged extension, so Chrome will automatically pick this up come time, or you can manually force and update.
Any issues or suggestions leave a message at the bottom of the article.

Thanks to CodeProject for asking if I would be interested in becoming a CodeProject Mentor, and how could I refuse!
So any aspiring authors having difficulty with your articles, feel free to contact me and I'll be happy to help where I can!

Please note that todays changes to The CodeProject had broken the Chrome extension and the Gadget.
I have taken a look at these and made changes and submitted revision through the approval process.
The next Versions are V1.6 for Chrome Extension and V1.2 for Desktop Gadget.
If you are using the packed chrome extension, you can force an update and it will update now, as the distribution on my website is now updated.
Cheers,

The Extension has been updated to cater for changes to the CodeProject made 6/7th December.
If you have already installed the packaged extension, the Chrome autoupdating function should automatically pickup the new version from my website, failing that click the link in the article and re-install.
If you are using the extension as an unpacked extension from the source code, then you will need to update manually.
Visit the article for links and changes;
