It seems to me that Software is the only thing (or one of a few things maybe) where people think they own it and everything about it. For example, you take your pants exactly as they come. You just deal with how they are. Same thing with your car. You don't complain that the GPS sends data for feedback. You don't complain that the steering is not exactly as you want it, you just deal with it. You buy a banana at the store and if there is a small bruise, you don't take it back. You just deal with it. You "take it" with nearly everything in life. But software seems to get people near violent.

I just don't understand that kind of thinking.
There are two kinds of people in the world: those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.

There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.
