Perhaps - but as often as not, it's analogous to going to a restaurant, ordering a lot of food, and then leaving it behind. You don't get your money's worth - the details into whose fault it is are the real part worth considering.

Well, it's a fact that the cost of higher education in good universities is beyond most people. To end up with a 120K loan for a 4 year under-grad degree is a little harsh considering they would be 22-23 at most when they graduate.

In my opinion, the high cost of college in the US is caused by the same thing that causes the high cost of healthcare:
It's the fact that we ourselves don't outlay the money for it. It's paid for by somebody else and we get an installment plan. That's a perfect recipe for outrageous prices.
The difficult we do right away...
...the impossible takes slightly longer.

My coworkers were complaining because we ran out of Starbucks coffee and are now drinking Folgers. I can't taste much of a difference between the two and its free! Personally I would rather be hooked on the cheap stuff anyway!
