If you want a clean android experience without all the extra layers that the likes of Samsung put on their devices, then you need to go for the Pixel C. https://store.google.com/product/pixel_c[^]. Runs the latest Android 7.

Thanks, appreciate the info. Starting at $499, that's too expensive (for what I have in mind).

What about the millions who dumped the Windows phone? I dumped mine when its port where I connected the battery charger broke, and I could no longer charge the battery. Nokia quality!
Get me coffee and no one gets hurt!

My last Nokia phone was a 6310i, it died this spring.

I had one that lasted for years, too.

Wow, I can't believe how fast they're picking up the pace again!

Good for them

What's really annoying is that the baby-blocks interface should be good for phones.
Shame they can't get it anything right.

Well, you can count another one . I own a Lumia 650.

Add another one! Lumia 928 running 8.1.
It's been a great phone, with just one exception that I can't figure out.
If I have two calls going and hit End Call for either one, it hangs up on both parties.

Hi All,
I admit I had an issue using an exe built using the serial port class. It's something of a newbie error, the exe blows up if the machine has no serial port. The first time I have actually seen it happen so I will go back and try it properly tomorrow... just grateful I don't have to recompile...

What's scary is that it would actually work, in this instance.
