A week ago my uncle called and left me a voice mail. I've been thinking about him, then he called me again last night close to mid-night which was unusual. The phone conversation went something like:
ME: [seeing his name on the caller ID] Hello [name], How are you?
HIM: Hello, I know you called me today, I am returning your call
I'm puzzled as I did not call him.
ME: I was thinking about you. Thank you for your call last week, but I did not call you today.
HIM: As soon as I stepped into the house my son told that you called earlier to let me know your brother arrived safely.
I am more puzzled because I didn't call and my brother didn't travel.
Then suddenly, his son burst out laughing "Happy April's fools day Dad!"
Nice way to reconnect family.

I have a friend who's in NA. He has a horrible habbit of telling me, when he talks about someone, that that's how he knows them. I've told him more than once he doesn't have to tell me where he knows people from.
