 100% agree! The wife and I went on 6 day cruise last year. No cellular service and no wifi for almost a week! I hadn't been that relaxed since Y2K! It would've been perfect $except that my know it all brother-in-law and his wife were also on the voyage.

We couldn't afford B&B when I were a kid - we stayed in a static caravan on Hayling Island.
We kids enjoyed it, but probably not our parents: 4 kids and two adults in a plastic box the size of my kitchen ...

We went to yellowstone years ago and stayed the the old faithful inn.
No TV. No Internet.
No way, no more.

Indeed - stayed in a hotel in Sedona a few years back which had nothing but moonlight and coyotes (or mountain lions - really not sure). Oh, and a sign on the door to call reception for someone to come and escort you to the main hotel at night! We checked out after one night!

There are other meanings to nips, nipping, &etc., which I'd wager are used orders of magnitude more often than that 'British vernacular'.

Considering the time it took for one man-made craft to leave the heliosphere (let alone the solar system), I'd say it's highly unlikely we're ever going to leave our galaxy. So forget about the far-distant ones.
While Voyager 1 is commonly spoken of as having left the Solar System simultaneously with having left the heliosphere, the two are not the same. The Solar System is usually defined as the vastly larger region of space populated by bodies that orbit the Sun. The craft is presently less than one seventh the distance to the aphelion of Sedna, and it has not yet entered the Oort cloud, the source region of long-period comets, regarded by astronomers as the outermost zone of the Solar System.

Considering the evolution of technology in just the last 115 years coupled with our lack of understanding of the cosmos, I have higher hopes of future generations ability to do what now seems impossible.

Well, at the very least, we'd need to be able to build vehicles that can exceed the speed of light to make it viable, come up with working hibernation or build generational ships and that's just to explore our own galaxy. Only when we can exceed the speed of light will interstellar travel become worthwhile.

I finally have reproduced a customer's bug. And what do I get as the exception object?

So the exception was returned as the name of a PHP object? Or another language that prefixes variables with '$' at least.
Unfortunately I can't think of an appropriate PHP joke this early in the morning, coffee hasn't kicked in.
