Nope, no plugins. VS2012 locks up for a minute or two quite often on startup with the message "busy performing a background task". Geez, if it's a background task, why does it affect foreground operations? That's probably one of the more stupid messages I've ever seen.

Of course, sharepoint development, especially web part deployment, is much easier in VS2010/2012. This is the only reason, i have installed VS2012

Whehe ..and now you want us to tell you why you should upgrade, convincing you? Have you ever tried to convince someone who asked for a valid reason to upgrade from VB6?
You can still target the 2.0 framework and use the 4.0 runtime for it's benefits. Things like improved garbage-management come to mind. Ooh, gone the days that a .NET app froze without any obvious reason 
..and yes, I'm using the 4.0 framework from both OpenSUSE aswell as Debian (a Raspberri Pi).

I use VS2010 at home (for WinForms development) and love it. I upgraded from VS2005 and VS2008. At work I use both VS2010 and VS2012.

I use 2012 at work (mostly for SSIS), but 2010 at home where I'm more likely to do WinForms.
But mostly I write console apps and libraries and I don't use VS for that.

I was just reading an article the other day about how much an anesthesiologist adds to the cost of medical procedures (well, actually it was about a new machine that can do the same job much cheaper). It's kind of sad how true that part of this joke is...

So we finally decided to bail on the 2012 visual studio cloudification handle git for you thing.
It would have been great had it worked at all. We couldn't even commit changes on our published branch, and then sync. It would get all hosed up and we couldn't even change branches.
I have found a way to use it for the simple things, and git bash for the rest. So we create branches, commit, rebase, etc.. through the terminal, and then use the vs gui to sync.
Now I have to figure out how to create the remotes from the vss address and we'll finally be able to work on the project again.

He basically called me in for the annual checkup.. Found out two bad teeth which have to be "taken away in a later moment". And I have such a difficulty to open the mouth...
Definition of the "Later moment": full anesthesia in a hospital for a half a day.. Don't think the insurance is taking that over.. Will be a pretty busy "dentist" autumn for me.. And my wallet..

And why would you have to have full anesthesia? Can't he jab you full of novacaine and starlight you with pentathol instead? It's what my jaw cracker does.
Much easier and none of the inherent dangers of full coma inducing sleeping draughts

He suggested the full anesthesia because I have a very strong nervous reaction when opening the mouth. Basically it's very hard to have it open still. I had local anesthesia last operation, and it was still very hard
