Apart forma short break and 4 hours sleep, I've been here (along with some others) since 0700 yesterday. We are running on caffeine and fumes. I swore I'd never do this again but, in a very strange way, I'm sort of enjoying it. I'll collapse later!

Seems the older I get, the earlier I wake. Weird.
Sometimes the true reward for completing a task is not the money, but instead the satisfaction of a job well done. But it's usually the money.

Couple tricks if you're interested. Take home a couple project charters, statements of work, business specs etc... start intently reading those for a minute or two. Just as your eyes get droopy start playing some background white noise. I like to use recordings of meetings at work or my boss asking me to be productive. Knocks me right out.

So, what I've been surviving on for the past 2 months. Occassionally get more than this on weekends, but staying up drinking on days off cuts in to sleeping then too.

There's an element of truth in that, although typically when you react you compound your errors.
I don't know what the solution is, but a suspension of belief might help.
