For ages we used to type in special character using ALT+hex-unicode-value... The problem is with the A-F values that normally assigned to menu items... There was the option of 0 with the decimal value, but never worked for large values... A good idea to move it from ALT to ⊞

The rest of us had to resort to editing the registry:

Seems to me that you're not being very expressive at all if you have to use pictograms rather than, y'know, actual words, to converse.

As others have said, your remark about Margot Kidder's looks was uncalled for (and untrue).
As LL, she certainly wasn't cast as a bombshell, but don't forget that Superman is set in the '50s. She was supposed to be a professional reporter in a period where too-pretty women were considered a liability in the office.
