It can be done, minor difficulty (even "un-installed" some files remain locked inside deep holes) - luckily [the over 10 years-old] unlocker 1.9.2 seems to be able deal with those.
Even when fully removed it tries to come back, for instance sometimes when orifice upgrades (- without asking, because of course ms knows better than us what we want or need).

I sometimes used DropBox for testing HTTP downloads with WebClient in C#, worked until about a year ago when they applied more strict security rules, couldn't get it working after that ...
I now use 'USB Webserver on a stick' for testing: USBWebserver | USB server[^]

I don't use either service. I have a facility for uploading files to my web site. If I want to share a file with someone, I simply give them the link, and voila.

The one thing I remember about Dropbox catching my attention years ago is how trivial it was to get access to random a user's files, just by entering semi-random user ID in links and guessing filenames. Whereas with OneDrive, the URLs are so long and complicated it's practically impossible to "guess" by brute-force.
I have no idea whether that's still the case however.

First of all, kudos to all codeproject authors, especially to authors whom I follow. You've been all an inspiration to everyone 
I just got a quick question. I've been here for about a year and 9 mos. I've won a few article contest before but up until now I'm not sure how really the system selects the winner. I know about the voting system but I noticed how it is politically driven. I mean if you are a popular author and got many friends, regardless of article content, views and downloads, you will win.
Is it only me who noticed it?
My real question is how the voting get's validated? Aside from votes, does content, views, downloads help on winning?

Anything beyond the popular vote would be the editors' preference. So no, views only help if they create more votes.
