I'm impressed by its speed of drawing and grouping complex shapes. etc.
Wonder if you might get some ideas from it.

Personally, I like the single level of indirection SVG would use.
Everything Renders it quite nicely, and if you DID need to do something relatively unique, you could easily find the SVG example.
Very easy to dump an SVG file and find the issue. Especially vs. Canvas Writing commands.
Also, great for importing into a graphics package as vectored and using it in literature.
Seems obvious as someone who knows NOTHING about your goals

Hah, that reminds me of a DOS program I used: EZ-Flow. It had a great feature/mode: Keyboard!
You would type a 1 letter code for each object (D for Decision), hit ENTER and then hit an arrow key, it would draw the decision box, and the arrow in that direction and then you type R (I think) for routine, gives a rectangle, completes the arrow for you.
If you kept typing, it would fill in the caption until you hit ENTER or something (this was like 1987).
The funny part was that I could CRANK OUT Flowcharts really quickly. We had to use them in our documentation, LOL. Everything aligned to grid, which was fine.

But now you have me curious. Are you going to use SVG For the Individual objects, or for the Entire Graph? (I assume the entire graph, since it should handle the moving of attached lines perfectly well).
Good luck. Won't it be funny if it was easier to implement than everything you had to do to make the desktop app?

Yeah, same car.
Ten degrees initial, 36 total, all in by 3000 rpm.
It' idling kinda high because we haven't really done anything to the carbs as far as tuning. We just wanted it to keep running while we messed with other stuff.
I'm glad we put solid motor mounts in at the outset, you can feel the added torque from the blower when you're in the car. I bet it would lift the front end off the ground with some drag radials on it.

Thats cam angles is it? I know it by crank angle so for example a 40-80 80-40 cam has a 300 degree duration, it was very revvy, idled about 1500 though.
So would your cam be, in crank angles, 20-72? Have to say it sounds great, very quick pick up and revs smoothly.

In the morning I sat down to take a look at my old code. Now it's almost 4 am again, but I did it.
A solution with 42 projects, among them my 3D engine, the UI running in the 3D engine, four webservices, an ASP .Net website, a WPF administration client and finally the unfinished game itself. XNA already was based on DirectX 8, which already was somewhat old when Mickeysoft decided to pull the plug and try something else. Without an alternative that would not require a total rewrite, the whole code would have been a dead end. Then MonoGame came along, which started where XNA left off.
Last week I ported my old test application that I used to try out my 3D engine and the UI without having to care about the huge solution. From the code side it was easy. MonoGame is almost 100% compatible to XNA. The graphics resources and especially shaders needed some work, but that also was a step ahead because it was not an incompatibility, but an upgrade over two versions of the shader programming model. It took me the entire day and most of the night, but now the whole project has a future again.
Here is a screenshot[^. What do you think of the background? I painted it in Paint.Net. It's not some picture I stole from the web and seamless in all directions.
