I only miss the InputBox, albeit as it's.net you can use it anyway referencing Microsoft.VisualBasic.Interaction.InputBox.

It's something about the journey in general, not its end point in this case. I'm pretty sure the famous programmer Confucius said something like this too.

But in VB you don't write:
double Wonderful = 2^3;
That's (mostly) C#.
In VB, you write:
Dim Wonderful As Double = 2^3
If your problem is excessive verbosity, then VB is not your friend.
If you think 'goto' is evil, try writing an Assembly program without JMP.
