When you get to the job centre, try not to laugh when you see their computer systems. They can get quite upset when you tell them it's "quaint" and "so 1980s" Laugh | :laugh:

If he can see more clearly now, so soon after the surgery, that's a good sign! When Ella had her cataracts done, she was back to how she was before the op in a day or two, and it just got better from there. (Eye surgery tends to swell the eyeball, so focus goes out until it calms down again).

Depends on what he had done, but generally yes - it takes a few days for the eye to settle down first.

Well It's wet-AMD so the treatment appears to be three shots to the eye, seems like first one has cleared the 'black smut' he was complaining of fingers crossed. Smile | :)

I had a crap week too. But I live directly across the street from a church. Seems like every time I have a bad week that church has a funeral service that parades right in front of me. It reminds me that there is always someone having a worse day. And I can probably deal with what I got.

Yes that's what I thought, but one interview was good, just in the wrong place, the second was AWFUL, A group of Apprentices who had done 1 hour of Electronics, I was stood the ready to Kichoffs (volts & currents) got so far when I was told they are doing Diodes & Transistors (after 1 hour??) so not holding out great hope for that one...also the phone interview I had I have been told I was not successful Beer | [beer]

I would dearly love to, but the immigration policy is mad. A friend of mine was married to a US citizen, worked for a US company still couldn't get a green card Confused | :confused:
