Lol, considering the federal tax per person using the same math is:
3.45 Trillion / 316,148,990 = $19,912 that makes it $20k + $3k = $23k in taxes per person, WTF.
(Technically, all government expenditures are taxes)

To bad you don't live in the USA. Here most expenditures are borrowed.

Someone will get stuck when the music runs out so I consider it a tax. Unfortunately, with borrowed money it all comes due when the house of cards falls.

Inadequately defined question error:
Just the county budget? County + all the municipalities in it (I think these are most of the local spending in PA)? + counties share of state money? + share of federal money?
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?

Country Budget is not ill defined. Type in your County Name + State + Budget on google and their will be an annual report for your county (most likely) with a budget number.

The difference between what gets spent at what level of govt between states means you're comparing apples to tire irons.
Cambria county PA's $60m for 140k mostly reflects that the county govt doesn't do much. AFAIK it only runs the courthouse and county jail.
Most tax dollars/spending occur at the municipal level. Ex Johnstown spends $12m with another $30m for the school district despite having only 20k pop. That's >4.5x per capita.

Population: 540,504
Expenditures: $73,043,526
$55 million of budget comes from property and sales tax. A surprising amount comes from court fines.
As has been pointed out, however, my county is mostly incorporated towns and cities with some state land, so you'd have to add it all up.

Chicago was the first place in the Merca I visited so I have retained a fondness for the place and almost follow their sports teams.
Except the Cubs, they can go stick their collective heads in a pig.
Did I mention I stayed with a committed Sox family?

Yes, the Scrubs and Sox are indeed mutually exclusive. I hadn't thought of The Fridge in many moons, I wonder what he's up to, probably 5 or 6 hundred pounds I'd imagine.

I don't think everyone has got your meaning so
Everything is always in the last place (it may also be the first place) you look unless you are daft enough to keep looking once you have found it

I find that the quickest way to find something is to ask the wife where she put it...

Well, you can be happy you don't have a wife like mine then. She goes around moving EVERYTHING from the smallest item to the largest piece of furniture and even the paintings on the wall - with regular (short) intervals. Not for any particular reason, just because she feels that something ought to be rearranged.
Me, I like continuity in my life, and I like to know where things are. But every time I think I do, I come home to find that she has had one of her rearranging frenzies, and then I can start go searching for stuff again every time I need something...
If it ain't broken, don't fix it!
