This is a little known fact, but I believe I popularized the JOTD acronym on CP (many years ago). I may not have been the first to use it, but I institutionalized it into the Lounge culture. Sadly no one else has credited me so far - bastards!

I've just received my 4th or 5th Windows Phone. I do like them.
Except for the Date and Time -> Set Automatically, which it does but never to the correct time, usually 2-3 mins out. So as per usual I've had to turn this off and set it manually every couple of weeks.
Has anyone else had this problem?

I compare it with the time on my PC which also is exactly the same as the that on Sky News on the TV above me. The discrepancy holds when I compare the time on my phone to that in the Railway station.
I think its the phone, but I guess it could be a conspiracy.

I had a windows phone and I also experienced the time issue.
My phone was always 30 minutes out. I would change the time from a reliable source and before the day was out it would slip back to being 30 minutes out. In the end I was so used to it being that far out I just left it.
Every day, thousands of innocent plants are killed by vegetarians.

No, no, not at the same time. One after another. My last one was the Lumia 1020 with 41megapixel camera. That was a thing of beauty but I left in a pub by the dartboard and never saw it again.
New one is the 1520 which is just huge. And beautiful.

Just looked at the specs, that thing is bigger than the Note 4.
Does it come with all the crap ware that samsung inflict on their phones and do you need to "root" them to clean it out?

Not really, it comes with some preloaded Nokia apps, but these are rather good in general and a good reason to choose Nokia over a rival Windows phone.
Anything you don't like you just uninstall. It's a really good phone, charges wirelessly and is great for my big clumsy fingers. The only criticism is when using as a phone it's almost got comedy value due to its size.

Yeah I have a Note 1 but then I'm not a small bloke and it is in proportion. I will need to upgrade shortly and am considering the wp mainly because I don't need to hack into it to get at parts of the system.
The lack of a really good GPS navigation system is the only detraction, I use syzig and it is excellent on android.

Well, if you mean a thing to get you (in car) from A to B, the Nokia app is very good. Well better than my TomTom anyway. And its got live traffic on it to reroute you.

The company provides the 'cables' for the internet (we have only one in Israel so far) offered me (not me only) a solution, that by giving a certain part of my bandwidth (1 or 2 Mb depending of the size of it) to the community I will got free access to internet everywhere someone shares in the same way. The idea is that by sharing our (already payed) bandwidth we create a free network for everyone out-of-home too...

Yes, here in France, "Free" (the provider) allows you to access any of its DSL box over WiFi, with limited bandwith of course. You get special credentials for that.
The box owner has of course priority when using his own connection over possible people hooking on his box.
